The formula feels the same as their original holographic lip water. Non-sticky, light hydration, but this one offers a beautiful watermelon pink tint with gold reflects. It's gorgeous. My only complaint is the smell, the original has a peppermint smell that I love and I expected this one to smell like juicy watermelon, but it doesn't smell that way at all. The smell is bitter and unpleasant, but at least it's not overwhelming. If you're looking for a product this shade I would recommend the lano rose gold 101 ointment, it looks the same except its not a wet finish like this formula.

Watermelon seems to be the key ingredient in a lot of brand's new releases this summer, and I'm here for it! I was initially skeptical of this product because I thought a lip "water" would be overly thin and fail to moisturize my lips. I was wrong; this product keeps my lips moisturized for ~2-3 hours and I enjoy the slight pink tint. I am, however, disappointed by the scent... or lack thereof. Based on the product description and the product marketing, it seemed like this would have a juicy watermelon scent/flavor and unfortunately, it smells nothing like watermelon... just an average, chemical scent. This isn't a hugeeee deal (i.e. only took off 1 star) but when you're expecting something and it's not there... yeah, slightly disappointing.

I have always wanted to try the lip waters from the Lanolips range. It feels so good on the lips as it truly feels like a drink of water for the lips. It doesn’t feel like a gloss, it feels more like a lip oil in texture/feel. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last and I wasn’t too keen on the shimmer once the product wore off. It would be amazing if Lanolips came out with lip waters without the shimmer which I would definitely buy!

Bought this for my little sister and my mother also ended up wanting one. Fragrance and taste are like natural watermelon, very refreshing. Perfect texture, not too glossy and not too thick. Great for a natural look!
This lip water feels slick and not sticky. It reminds me more of a lip oil and keep my lips feeling moisturized even when it has worn off. The applicator is hard and pointy but when you bend it enough and loosen it up, it's a brush like a normal lip applicator. The scent is not watermelon to me but it's not awful. More like strawberry banana someone else mentioned. The color doesn't show up on me much but that may be due to my tan Asian skin. It does leave a nice sheen tho. It's a little pricey and I feel I'm going thru it quickly. I might buy it again, but if it were on sale.
This works really well for me; my lips stay soft for hours. Lanolin is the only thing I have found that helps my chapped lips long term. This gloss is smooth and comfortable... it is very water-like. It smells yummy but not like watermelon. It smells more like a typical strawberry lipgloss but works much better.
The name is kinda misleading, but i suppose thats down to individual interpretation "watershine" makes me think of smooth, non-sticky lips. This is the opposite - feels sticky both on your lips and the residue it leaves when you remove it. I would go as far as to liken it to the old thin lizzy lip gloss in terms of stickiness. You also feel every speck of glitter when your lips touch. My lips did not feel hydrated after using this.
I've always been a lover of the 101 ointment, and wanted the lip water but didn't like the Peppermint flavour of the original. I noticed this in the sale and thought I'd try it... I've since brought 2 more! It's absolutely lovely. It has a pale pink colour gloss and smells and tastes like watermelon, just the right amount! It is like a drink for your lips, as its 'water' not gloss or balm. It doesn't last long but you can feel a balmy texture on your lips after it has worn off. Keeps lips lovely and soft. Highly recommended! Please never stop stocking this!
So glad I purchased this product! It is everything I want for my lips. It has the feel of a lip oil in how smooth and lightweight it is. My lips feel really moisturized when I put it on. It does not have any stickiness or tackiness to it at all. It has a beautiful soft pink tint to it that is nice and sheer but you definitely notice the color. And best of all, it has an amazing light watermelon scent and tastes like watermelon too, but very subtle without being overpowering. This really is such a wonderful lip product! It feels like a combination lip treatment, lip oil, lip gloss, lip balm, and lip tint. LOVE!!!
I love lip glosses and lip balms but I have an allergy to most balms and glosses are hard to like bc most are sticky. This is nice and moisturizing without being sticky. I love it. I docked a star because the applicator is weird and the color gloss isn't as pigmented as I'd like it to be. The scent is light, in case you care about that.
