Lansinoh is the only bottle my baby would take so naturally when it was time to move up the flow I bought two six packs of the fast flow and shredded the packaging without thinking twice. I was devastated when the next two bottles I gave my son collapsed IMMEDIATELY when the slow and medium flows never did. I was about to throw them all in the garbage since I couldn’t return them (no packaging) when I randomly thought to check the vents. I knew about the hole on top of the nipple ring so I went to see if they were blocked. That’s when I realized there was also a vent that goes under the nipple ring as well. It’s directly underneath the obvious hole but it’s harder to see so I took a picture. All I had to do was gently pinch the vents between my fingers to open them ... MoreLansinoh is the only bottle my baby would take so naturally when it was time to move up the flow I bought two six packs of the fast flow and shredded the packaging without thinking twice. Great nipple shape but not a true slow flow

I made the mistake of buying 5 packs of the Natural Wave 2S "slow flow" nipples to replace my Philips Avent nipples since my LC recommended these which mimic the shape of our nipples for breastfed babies. My 6 week old baby literally chugged 4 oz of milk in 2 minutes which is not normal and this is with feeding by the paced bottle feeding method where the bottlenit tilted at a 90 degree angle to make baby work harder tonsuck the milk out. It usually takes him 15 minutes with the Avent nipples. It's really unfortunate because I like the shape of these nipples so that my baby can continue working on a deep latch but there is no way I can keep using these since it will cause more nipple confusion. I’ve been using Lansinoh bottles with my twins since they were born since we have to supplement with formula. We have no issue with the flow, they spill milk sometimes and it’s definitely not the nipple flow because one twin doesn’t spill a single drop while the other one every now and them soaks a bib. These promote a wide latch and I think it was one of the things that helped my twins latch onto the breast, they were born very small and had a hard time latching. We started with the smaller bottles and quickly realized that we needed the bigger ones, so we purchased multiple 2S nipples for the bigger bottles and that’s what we’re still using at almost 4 months. Also, a great hack is to purchase the Lansinoh nipples and use them with the Parents Choice wide neck ... MoreI’ve been using Lansinoh bottles with my twins since they were born since we have to supplement with formula. Limited nipple flow levels and not accurate
9 April 2023

I love almost everything i've experienced with Lansinoh, except the nipple flow. I am a mother baby nurse and a mom myself and that is the number one feedback and reason why moms of newborns cannot use the bottles until the babies are almost 5 months old. It was the same for my newborn as well. I VERY much hope something can be done about this because I would love to use all lansinoh products for my next baby, but if I can't use the bottles for many months it really defeats the purpose.. The slow flow nipple says a 2 on it and medium flow says 3. My baby needed a premie nipple when she was born so the Lansinoh bottles were far out of question and I had to use all Dr.Browns bottles with my lansioh pump. Can more nipple sizes be made for ALL levels truly?

My Saving Grace
31 May 2023

My daughter was a nicu baby and although I am able to breastfeed her we also have to fortify her breast milk with formula so we needed to find a bottle to transition to since we weren’t going to be able to use the bottles the nicu gave us forever. That being said we probably spend over 200 dollars on bottles and nipples looking for a bottle that would work. I pretty much gave up until I found these and thought why not try one last time. Thank god I did. My baby loves these bottles and I notice that she drinks off of these bottles just like she is breastfeeding. That being said I have a fast let down and the problem we were having with other bottles were they were either to slow or way too fast and these mimic my flow exactly. Need a slower nipple than slow flow
20 July 2024

I love the lansinoh bottles and nipples…EXCEPT the flow. Much like other users, and quite honestly with the number of people that have had the same issue I don’t know why Lansinoh hasn’t made another slower version yet - but I digress, the slow flow is not even close to slow enough. I wouldn’t say I have a slow flow myself, and my 10 week old is gasping and choking. And for those saying “try to pace feed” etc….this is WITH pace feeding. The second I tilt the bottle it begins. It’s absurd as a level one pace. At least Pigeon has figured out the fix and is certainly capitalizing on all of these breastfeeding moms that need a slower flow bottle nipple. Highly recommend the 0+ ss nipple and it’s compatible with Lansinoh. Lansinoh- please take note- when this many people ... MoreI love the lansinoh bottles and nipples…EXCEPT the flow. Perfect for a Smooth Transition from Breast to Bottle
21 August 2024

I love most about these nipples is how they mimic the natural feel of breastfeeding, making the transition from breast to bottle so much easier. My baby latched on immediately with no fuss, which was a huge relief. The design also reduces the risk of nipple confusion, which was one of my biggest concerns. They are durable, easy to clean, and fit perfectly with our Lansinoh bottles. I highly recommend these nipples to any parent looking for a reliable and baby-friendly option

Seems like a decent product but issue with flow
28 March 2024

The quality of the product is nice but their "slow flow" nipple (size 2s) is far from a slow flow nipple. If you hold the bottle so there is liquid in the nipple the liquid drips out very rapidly, even with a small amount of liquid in the bottle. They need a size 1 nipple option. If their flow rates were comparable to other brands this product might be worth it but as of now I would not recommend. Avent has a slow flow option for anyone looking for a more accurate flow rate.

Size 2 slow flow is way too fast

I delivered very prematurely and have a very low milk supply, so my babe has to work pretty hard to get milk from my breast. I love the shape of these nipples and had high hopes for this bottle to be a solution to help my baby continue to love a breast that doesn’t feed him a ton of milk. Instead, these nipples drown him: he gags and chokes and spills milk around the nipple and ultimately spits up from all the air he takes in while gasping to keep up with the flow. This is true even when following the recommendations to hold baby more upright and bottle more horizontal. There is just no way to adequately slow thr flow for my baby. As comparison, Dr. Browns offer three levels of slow-flow: preemie, transitional, and level 1; Lanisoh slow-flow is much faster than Dr. ... MoreI delivered very prematurely and have a very low milk supply, so my babe has to work pretty hard to get milk from my breast. While I like the nipple shape and ease of assembly of these Lanisoh bottles much better than any other bottles we’ve tried, I’m disappointed that a bottle specifically designed to help with breast feeding wouldn’t offer a nipple appropriate for baby-mom pairs like us who work very hard to maintain the small amount of breast feeding we can but depend on bottles to get adequately fed. Like the many others who are discouraged by a supposedly breast-like bottle that only represents some gold standard breast, I implore Lanisoh to make an ultra slow flow nipple so those of us with slower-flowing milk and slower-eating babies can take advantage of this otherwise excellent bottle.

Slow Flow is NOT Slow
7 June 2024

Unsure why the slow flow complaints aren’t being taken seriously by company, but it’s very frustrating. My newborn won’t take a bottle, but this one went very well EXCEPT it was completely flooding her out. How is this similar to a breast when the flow is SO much faster? We just need a slower flow nipple option - similar to Dr Browns P and 1. Sitting her upright and pace feeding does not combat the incredibly fast flow of the 2s.
