Only 3mm thickness all round offers the perfect balance between weight for performance and lightness for ease of handling. Uniform thickness throughout the base, walls and lid ensures heat is evenly distributed. Higher resistance to chipping, staining and dulling over the life of the cookware. Will remain better looking and performant over time. Completely hygienic, the enamel surface does not retain odours and has superior resistance to acid foods making it perfect for marinating or storing. It's excellent release properties prevents sticking and makes clean up simple and easy. Individually cast in sand moulds and hand crafted at the original French foundry since 1925, each piece of Le Creuset enamelled cast iron cookware is perfectly finished and unique. These distribute weight more evenly and make it easier to carry from hob to oven to table even when wearing bulky oven gloves. It is now even more durable to resist staining, dulling and other wear and tear and makes cleaning even faster and easier. This withstands any oven temperature for total peace of mind and is more ergonomic for a more comfortable, natural grip. With built-in stabilisers seal in flavour with a more secure fit and has enhanced rings and branding for added beauty. From iconic Volcanic to contemporary matte white Cotton or bold Marseille Blue, Le Creuset casserole dishes are available in a wide choice of colours and sizes to perfectly complement your home dcor and lifestyle. Suitable for use on all hob types, including induction, and in the oven, the casserole makes a perfect serving dish too as cast iron keeps food warmer for longer at the table.

It sits on the stove like a warm red glowing invitation to cook up something delicious. So I did just that immediately! Such a yummy pot of browned rich gravied casserole all
cooked perfectly at once and made so easy in one pot. Then we ate from it and then I would have put the pot’s leftovers into the fridge but there were none! The pot was so
easy to clean. Nothing stuck on it and it was into the dishwasher with it and then straight back onto my stovetop to sit and wait until my next delicious venture with it. So bright
and beautiful to look at and so incredibly easy and fail proof to use-beginning to end. A delightful pot to serve from as well. I now aim to buy a skillet style next. It... Show more

I have been using my Le Creuset for 60 years! It was given to me by my mom when I got married. I have always loved it and always use it. There is a distinct difference in the
taste of anything you cook that is better than any other set of cookware. I accidentally found this out the first time when I had a French Dinner Party and cooked Coq au Van in
2 caseroles One being Le Creuset. The other just a good cookware. The difference was astounding !!! I gave the guests the one in the Le Creuset and family the other! They
raved about the dinner non stop. I have never had anything happen to any one of them. I highly recommend this product ! Who ever heard of something lasting that long!!!!

I love cooking in this pot so much. It's no surprise that Le Creuset is so loved by so many. It cooks like a dream and makes "font" so well, unlike any other pans I've ever used.
It elevates all my cooking. But the number one reason I bought this item from C&B was another experience I had with them: I bought mugs many years ago. I love them but 2
had broken handles. I came to the website to see if they still had them and saw that other people had complained of the same issue. I added by review and within a day, a
customer service representative had contacted me and had send me 2 replacement cups, even though it had been several years since I'd bought my mugs. I vo... Show more

Best cast iron pots to use.
4 March 2024
I bought my first set of Le Creuset nearly 40 years ago and although old and not so good looking, I still use them because theyare much easier to use. Since then, I have added more and more and now make up 90% of my pots and pans. I have neverbeen disappointed with any of their products. Those early ones had wooden handles that needed fixing as they become loosebut since I am a woodworker, I managed to keep fixing them. Whilst other pots and pans had to be replaced, I have had 40 yearsof life with my Le Creuset. Definitely the best cookware to use.... Show more

Got the wrong item.
16 December 2023
Well….the only thing right was the color. I got a tiny (8oz?) version of this pot for my $400. Very strange. The small box even appeared to have an authentic sticker for the 4.5 qt pot that I ordered. The customer service rep was very nice and refunded my money (after they received the returned mini pot; personally I think they should have just given it to me for the shock of it all. I was pretty stressed about this. ) This was a huge splurge for me, but maybe the universe is sending me a message. I will not be reordering.... Show more

It arrived in perfect condition!
5 December 2023
I’ve used Le Creuset cookware for 20+ years. My first piece was a 9qt second quality Classic Dutch Oven with the black Phenolic Knob. It has been my workhorse! I figured after all these years, it was time to replace the old girl for a couple reasons. The Signature pieces have larger handles than the Classic’s, which makes a difference with my arthritic hands being able to get a better grip. The Signature pieces also have the Stainless Knob, which can tolerate heat up to 500, whereas the Phenolic Knobs are only heat resistant up to 375. I order the same color, Cerise, and it arrived promptly and in perfect condition.... Show more

Love, Love Love this Dutch Oven
7 February 2024
I debated about size, and finally chose the 5.5 quart one. I think it's perfect for me in preparing recipes thatmake enough for 4 or 5 people. I wouldn't want larger. Usually I'm cooking for just two of us, and I can getenough made for two separate meals, if not three. The weight isn't that heavy, it's easy to handle, pick up,and clean. When you cook with these Le Creuset dutch ovens, you have to modify your use of high heat. I havea gas stove, and I keep the flame at medium to medium low, and many things once heated get turned down toa low simmer. The pan cleans up like new every time. If you let it cool, then fill with water to soak for 5 minutes, whatever is on the pan will come off with no effort at all. I hand wash, then dry the pan. With this kind of careful but not difficult care, the pan will continue to look beautifuland like new. I bought my pan in the beautiful dark teal color, which seems to now be discontinued. I alreadyhad a bunch of wood and silicone cooking utensils, and I don't plan to use metal except perhaps a soup ladle, which wouldn't scratch the pan anyway. The ceramic interior is very strong, but I don't want to risk scratches. This pan and this size is highly recommended as it's big enough but a manageable size and weight.... Show more

Perfect gift!
8 April 2024
I bought this casserole pot in the 20cm size in Navy for a wedding present and the recipients were absolutely thrilled! The navy is a really lovely dark deep blue colour and has a shine finish. It comes in a substantial Le Creuset box which protects the product well. I have my own Le Creuset pot at home for years and it is the best cookware purchase I've ever made. I use it pretty much every day; they are so hard-wearing, wash well and the non-stick is outstanding. I highly recommend these pots and will for sure be buying more in different colours/sizes in the future as I expand my cookware collection!... Show more

The last dutch oven I need to buy
14 September 2023
My experience with Le Creuset has been very positive. We have been using their enamel dutch oven since the early 80s! Then we were just starting out and were saving up and would buy a piece every year or so. They work great and look beautiful while doing it. I have had two issues over the years-both small chips on the inside bottom. Both times Le Creuset customer service took care of us and sent us new replacements-AT NO CHARGE! These are products that we bought when Reagan was in the white house. So when they say lifetime they really mean it. I don't know many business that is still doing that (other than my Sage fly rods). Both of our kids are good cooks and will be using ours once we are gone-how's that for a lifetime.... Show more

Use my 13 quart DO way more than expected
9 May 2024
When I got my 13 qt DO, I wondered about its versatility. Nicknamed Big Bertha in our house of just two people, I use her surprisingly often. Roast a turkey- yes. Do a stew, or roast a chicken or two for make-ahead use? Yes. Boil corn or other veggies- yes. Dry roast a batch of potatoes. Yes. I make homemade dog food, and this accommodates a good sized batch. But also realized that with a towel on the bottom it's great for canning, as it holds a nice steady temperature. She's a keeper.... Show more
