Leatherman SUPERTOOL 300 EOD - Black with Molle Sheath

I bought this for work as I do a lot of field service technical work. I reach for this tool multiple times a day and it never disappoints. When this one finally dies I’ll surely have another waiting.

Almost perfection, is perfection...

Incredible tool and product.The Molle sheath is utterly pointless--tool doesn't draw out quickly. I had to order something else.Knife blade is incredibly sharp, although the edge retention is degrading faster than I'd like.It's a perfect tool for what I need and the weight is better than the Surge.

Best Bang for Buck in the Leatherman Range (imho)

This is one of "Leatherman's" best bang for Buck products. It has all of the basic requirements for a 'Pocket Tool' without being too bulky. I lost my original tool after carrying it around for over 35 years (it was a basic pliers/knife/file version) and was devastated when I realised the loss. Fortunately my loving wife did some research and found the the '300 EOD' tool was the next best thing to the one I lost. I have been very happy with it and hope it will see me out for another 35 years (I'll be pushing 95 y/o by then!) I highly recommend this Leatherman.

Charge+ tti

First new leatherman i have purchased since 2014. Love the tool selection but wish it had and awl instead of the precision screwdriver. Pliers are typical leatherman high quality and the replaceable cutters have handled copper cable and steel wire easily so far. I also have found the guthook on the serated blade to be very useful in opening boxes and packages. I highly recomend the tti model if the handles are worth it to you. If not i believe the standard charge+ would also make an excellent tool.

Great, solid, innovative EDC tool

I work with limited EOD but this tool covers all the check marks. Literally used it the first day I received it and has been an EDC tool ever since. The crimpers are perfect, the saws are extremely useful and blade was surprisingly very sharp out of the box.I’m not crazy about the Velcro sheath closure but it works for now. It’s a personal preference thing not anything to do with the build quality or functionality.I work as a private security contractor and this tool is a hit not only with me, but my team. I’m glad I it engraved to Mark it as my own.

I bought this Leatherman for my husband. He had one for 20 years and the knife cracked. So for his birthday I decided to surprise him with a new one. He was absolutely thrilled! He loved it. As he used his other one just about daily, you can imagine how much he missed having one on his belt. So, he is very happy with the new one. Thank you! Ohh I have two sons who also have one. 😎

SECOND Super Tool 300 EOD Duty Specific (Black Oxide)

Was looking for a specific set of equipment and from Google I found Multi Tool Store had this item. Read over the description, which noted the the removal of engraving, and decided this didn't bother me. The service was first class. Given it was Christmas and how bad logistics can be that late on, I was very pleased with the speed of delivery. On receipt and opening my belief I had got a bargain was reinforced. This is an excellent tool. Well made, strong and versatile. If you know what functions you need and the eod has them then go for it. Changeable hacksaw blade and punch are excellent and the ability to add in a firearm push through make it a great tool and customisable. Super Tool EOD

I've owned several multitools by several brands over the years. My last was the Super Tool 300 which was loaned and lost. I carry one daily, decided on his model as it seamed the most specific to my needs as any other I have had. I must say the quality is still the same high standards that I expect from Leatherman. It is a bit wider than most and it may be important to note that the pliers are thinner (maybe 3/32") at the tip. I love the center punch but the awl seams redundant to me. And I will miss the file. The operation of the pliers and implements is much better than previous models I have owned, though everyone that I have loaned it to can't figure out how to close it (it is just stiff and harder to fold up). I chose the MOLLE sheath which is great for my use however the extra pocket I can hardly put a finger in much less get something out of it and the Velcro is a bit excessive not to mention expensive for the Leatherman brand, but they don't charge more for it at the time of purchase of the tool. All in all this is the best multitool I have ever owned. The only thing left for anyone to figure out is how to use the pliers comfortably...........

The Ultimate Survivalist Tool

I know that the Super Tool 300 EOD is made for eod techs but it happens to be the perfect survivalist tool. I spend half of every year as a jungle survivalist, doing survival where the jungle meets the coast. The punch and the awl on this tool come in very handy not only for gear repair, but also to extract water from coconuts. You have to de-husk the coconuts first, then you use the awl and the punch to poke a hole through the coconut shell into one of the 3 "eyes" of the coconut. Don't get me started on the uses of the other tools in this Leatherman or you would be reading a entire book. The only tool that I miss on this specific Leatherman is scissors.
