Quite a challenging build, I wouldn't recommend it for a novice, but if you have experience in Technic model definitely one to get. Huge size also. The stand to aid building is a brilliant idea.
I have built many of the larger Lego Technic models but I found this difficult. Bits didn't fit that well and some of the instructions were unclear. The stand wasn't firm enough for construction which made finer work difficult. The resulting model is lovely but very fragile.
My son really enjoyed the challenge of building this Technics set, it's got some great features , and is true to life. It was more of a challenge than some of the other Technics sets, but thedetailed instructions were very clear and easy to follow.
First I wasn't sure if I want this as I already ahve the Ducati. However, I think I made the right decision to order this Lego set. It's a lot of fun to build it, it doesn't take too much time, I could do it piece-by-piece after work. I don't regret it at all! :)

From there, building the frame and panels you get a perspective of the beauty of the real machine captured in Lego. This set took me longer than expected but after a refresh in technic building steps I soon got to grips with it.All in all, a very enjoyable set to build with the end result being a rather big but beautiful model to display! There are some play features but I'm more than happy to leave it as a display model. This prize, although bike related, was different to an actual bike. I'm not bike orientated but this would be an enjoyable challenge to complete. I'd like to see mountain bikes, trainers and other smaller items with less ticket sales to give people a real sense that 'they might win', rather than having 4 tickets in a raffle of 18,995 where the odds are very much stacked against you
This product itself is good! I found the carton broken when I received the package though the product inside was not damaged. The plastic bag outside is in good condition. There should be a thicker carton to resist the hits during the logistic.
The most realistic motorbike to date in the LEGO world. Large size and realistic features such as wheels and tyres. The shape is the classic silhouette of a superbike and we all know the BMW 1000 RR, so that will please fans. OK, maybe it is expensive, but as a motorbike fan I think with nearly 2000 pieces you can justify the cost if your a petrol head and don't tell the boss a t home. Not really for kids to be honest, but for the larger 30+ kids I think its a hit !
