Great set. Long build. I would definitely recommend for those who like hard builds with a great outcome. Police car very detailed and mechanism to release it is cool. Jail cell mechanism is cool. Helicopter is ok and motorcycle is just a standard police motorcycle. Robber car is cool. If you don't like the jail cell wall falling off then I would recommend bending the over head light down to block it from falling. Back of offices and jail cells have no wall so you can reach it. All in all it is a great set

I purchased a set for my daughter. During the experience of building it, I noticed as we got higher in the set certain parts wouldn’t connect down fully and when we try to push them down the pieces but either force up on a different side or the level would collapse. We also noticed that when we try to move the set it would fall apart because of the weight. There’s also a step in which you use locking pins to connect the buildings together during the step we had issues because we actually had to forcibly push the pins into the buildings which would lead to them collapsing from our handling. I do like the set but it makes it very difficult for us to play with because we spend a lot of our time trying to reassemble it after any kind a mishap. I would only recommend ... This kit comes with three buildings and three vehicles and I think it was 3 or 4 minfigs. Lots of windows and doors. It was a blast to build with my son and combines great with other kits. For the money, you can't beat the value. My favorite part, the helicopter, which is a much better design then the fire helicopter that comes with the fire set. CONS:The buildings come apart to easily. Not a new problem, since every kit I've purchased for the city that has connected buildings separated within minutes of starting to play with them. The prison wall escape is a lot of fun, and the mechtech to make it fall of was not only the most challenging part of the build but the coolest part of the build for me.

I bought this for my son about 5 months ago and finally got to give it to him for the summer holidays. needless to say he loves it.The set goes together really nicely, the corner details on the office look great and work really well. There is a vehicle launcher to give the police car a fast start.The mechanism for blowing off the front of the cell wall is a great addition and whilst I first thought that the front wall was going to be falling off all the time, it actually staying in place really well.I think I would have liked to see the corner office being a little bigger so that the helicopter had a full landing pad as in Police Station 60047, rather than hanging off the back slightly.There is also a small issue with the helicopter, if you spin the main ... (food for thought there Lego)
The building of this set wasn't much harder than the last one, but there are some neat aspects that make this a much more enjoyable set than the previous one.There's a little spot for you to place dynamite and then push a button and the wall explodes out! I only wish the wall was a little more stable when "locked" into the rest of the prison section. The other neat thing is the garage for the police car. Press a "T" handle and the car comes flying out of the garage.Overall, a fun set. I just wish there was more to the interior, especially of the station itself. The prison section was pretty good, but the station itself was fairly drab.
Got this for my son post eye surgery. Only on one eye so he has to build with a patch on. Example of how good and clear the instructions are. He loved building and playing with it after. Lots of interesting features and vehicles to play with. A really good distraction and reward for his bravery. I was amazed how well he did using one eye and wobbly with anaesthetic! He loves lego!
We got this for my 9 year old who wanted a ‘Lego jail’ for his birthday. He loved building it with a bit of help for some of the fiddly bits but other 9 year olds may be able to complete the build alone.It had some particularly fun features including the garage door and jail wall that bursts open. It came with a helicopter, police car and truck all which made for hours of play!I hate hving to add stickers on to Lego builds and this set had a few. It’s also not easy to move - you have to detach some pieces if you want to move it to a shelf after building otherwise there’s a risk you’ll drop the lot.Over all it is a great Lego set and was cheaper at Smyths than other big toy shops and with free p&p.

At the door there is a mat that says welcome home. At the top level there is a trap door down to the bottom. It has a hole for the robbers that are not ... This is my favorite of the Police Stations. It is a good addition for any Lego town either for movies or for just playing. The mechanism for the breakout function of the jail is pretty cool, although it is overly complicated. The offices and the jail are a little small and are hard to reach your hand into. The car shoot-out function is also cool. The detail and the several levels of this building are awesome and it makes this set a must have.P.S The vehicles are awesome, especially the police car. The helicopter is really lame though, although it does come with a piece that is the closest to a 1x5 plate that you can get.
The set is ok, its expensive but the peice count is good. The minifigures are good, providing a good selection of police officers and criminals. But needed maybe 1 or 2 more. The vehicles are ok the police ones a good, the red truck is a good choice for the play feature, the blow out wall. Now the actual station. Now I thought it was pretty good. The outside looked good however, the inside needed more. The garage part was ok the use of space was not the "best", but it did have details but not too many. The jail/prison. I thought that it was very good. The interior was good, having many places to put minifigures. However, the jail being outside and in front was very unrealistic and just didn't look right.
