LEGO 60316 City Police Station

So we received this game complimentary for testing. It’s been great. I forgot how much fun it can be building even in adulthood not just for kids. Easy to follow. Good for kids for developing solving skills. Also some activity that can take away from the screen.

It was such a long time ago. My grandson is now 14 but I remember it keep him busy for hours. He would sit fir hours on the floor making up stories about his job as a policeman. It taught him not to fear the the police. So for me I can say it was a learning tool as well as for play. And having us interact with him as played was fun.

A Jail-Break Adventure and Hours of Entertainment!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. My husband and I have been big fans of Legos since we were little kids. Legos have only gotten better over time, and this set is no exception! I can't get over how much detailed play this set includes. There's everything from big attractions like a jail-break feature and a helicopter to tiny details like a squirrel in the tree and police cameras. At 18 months, our son is too young to play with this set, but my husband and I had a blast putting it together. I can't wait to one day enjoy it with our son!

Epic Station!

One of the most fun sets I’ve built! The building has a nice organized layout and I absolutely love the vehicles, especially the dump truck. The police vehicle has room in the front for one minifigure & the dog that comes with this set, in the back of the car you can fit another minifigure locked up. The helicopter was a nice simple build, spins very nicely. The dump truck can fit one minifigure in the front and you can fit up to three minifigures in the back if you want to. The play feature of this is fun by lifting the dumpster and emptying it out in the truck. This set comes with stickers but nothing too frustrating, at least they’re good size to hold and apply the best you can. Overall I’m very satisfied with this set & cant wait to expand with the other new sets!

Excellent kit.

Given as a gift to Grandson who is a keen Lego builder and collector. He says it is great and has good detail. He especially likes the Dustcart as the device is very effective and really tips well. Great detail and providing much play time and fun. Clear instructions. Ordered and arrived as agreed with an efficient delivery service. Many thanks and will buy from Smyths again.

Lego City Strikes Again

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This Lego set is AWESOME! Lego City is a favorite collection in this house. The kids had a blast putting this together and playing cops and robbers. The trash truck is so fun. We love that it picks up and empties the dumpster. Lego just keeps getting better and better!

My 5 year old nephew LOVES THIS!!

I bought this for my 5 year old nephew, and (quick humble-brag,) it was his FAVORITE of all his gifts (go me!!) I don't have kids so I was really struggling what a boy his age would want. The box says 6 and up; my nephew is 5, but I know he is familiar with LEGO products, the instructions are easy to follow, and I also knew my brother (his dad) would be there to help if needed. So for the right kid, I do think this is appropriate for age 5. He ignored all of his other gifts and played with this all day :) It's also pretty cool because it integrates with his other LEGO stuff, so he's taken it apart many times and re-built it in his own way, or blended it with other kits. Perfect for my little Lego lover!

My 8 year old son is a HUGE Lego lover! He begged for this set for Christmas and was ecstatic “Santa” delivered! Instructions are easy to follow. He had it put together Christmas afternoon and leaves it set up in his room to play with. Now he’s begging for the firefighter set to go with it 😅. Great purchase!

Sturdy enough for playing

Grabbed this one on sale so it was even more of a value for us.There are so many things with the Lego City sets, and if you're doing a diorama or simply a playset, there's a lot of things to do with these sets.Personally I got this one specifically for the garbage truck and dumpster, which were a great addition to the things we already had. The vehicles are sturdy enough for kids to play with, something you can't say about some of the larger, more detailed vehicles, so these types of sets are great for younger builders who like to put them to the test by actually playing with them.
