A Jail-Break Adventure and Hours of Entertainment!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. My husband and I have been big fans of Legos since we were little kids. Legos have only gotten better over time, and this set is no exception! I can't get over how much detailed play this set includes. There's everything from big attractions like a jail-break feature and a helicopter to tiny details like a squirrel in the tree and police cameras. At 18 months, our son is too young to play with this set, but my husband and I had a blast putting it together. I can't wait to one day enjoy it with our son!

Amazing fun for young and old!

The first thing I noticed when I showed my grandchildren the LEGO set was their excitement and eagerness to get started. It was good to see how the set was divided into different bags and there were 3 instruction books, as I have 3 grandchildren. While my 7 and 8 year old granddaughters started on the helicopter and police car I helped my 4 1/2 year old grandson with the garbage truck. The instructions books were excellent as my granddaughters easily followed their step by step guide, only needing some small advice every now and then. I got my grandson to sort out the pieces that were shown in the instructions and he easily identified them by their pictures. They worked quietly and intently for almost 2 hours before needing a break. Fantastic and fun Lego set

The instruction booklets are extremely simple to follow, step by step with pictures of each piece. Even if you knew absolutely nothing about Lego and had never built before, you could easily build this set. Lego is always a joy to build and play with.There is alot of detail here, I liked the inclusion of the security camera so to monitor the front door. Then there is the extra fun pieces like the dog and squirrel. Our criminal is trying to escape by climbing the tree but the dog and squirrel are onto him!My sons most favourite part of this set is the garbage truck, funny enough. It's sad what Lego has come to.

When I was a smaller kid Lego used to have actual cool sets that fit in to a cool city setting. It was only a few years ago that I got this police station (60141)(Only for $99) and I had the time of my life. It had so much space and details and a roof. It still sits in my city today. What i mean is, if you take your son or daughter and take them on a feild trip through the internet, search through these old retired sets and let them dream of how cool and realistic their city could be. Creator expert is to expensive for a teenager and City sets are too childish for a teen. If Lego could come up with a line that was city what it used to be. I'm sure millions would buy it to make their dream realistic city. My kids thoroughly enjoyed this.

My kids were so excited when they saw this Lego set. My eldest son enjoys problem solving and analytical thinking so he eagerly got the instructions out and started working out what pieces he required to make the Lego set. He was so proud each time he put a part of it together, wanting to show me exactly how he'd done so.My daughter was also enjoying putting the pieces together to make the set and help her brother. The instructions were so easy for them to follow that they could put it together by themselves, which made it very helpful.This was the biggest Lego set the kids have had to put together and to watch them play together, working together and most importantly, having fun together without arguing was fantastic.I've now bought my toddler some Lego duplo ... MoreMy kids were so excited when they saw this Lego set. Perfect set for hours of play

I purchased this set for my child as a Birthday present. Lego were fantastic, with communication in regard to delivery times. Received the item quickly and even had a Birthday message from your lovely support team.The set is fantastic for children wanting to create scenes, cities and with lots of different parts for imaginative play.In this day & age, anything to help children imagine and create is a winner in my eyes.

Sturdy enough for playing

Grabbed this one on sale so it was even more of a value for us.There are so many things with the Lego City sets, and if you're doing a diorama or simply a playset, there's a lot of things to do with these sets.Personally I got this one specifically for the garbage truck and dumpster, which were a great addition to the things we already had. The vehicles are sturdy enough for kids to play with, something you can't say about some of the larger, more detailed vehicles, so these types of sets are great for younger builders who like to put them to the test by actually playing with them.

This is a goodish Lego set!

The newest police station that has come out, this one is not the best but not the worst. It has a reception desk and jail recreational area and cell in the bottom floor, along with a gatehouse. On the second floor it has a room to take mugshots and a bridge that leads to a helipad. On the 3rd floor is a control area. The price for the set is ok, and the function with the jail wall is fun! Overall I would recommend it for people who want a police station but not have to spend $200.
