You'll also have about a couple dozen extra bricks left over afterwards too. This LEGO set is well put together and I really like variety of bricks included with it. Each build from the instructions uses a small amount of pieces. The smallness of each build presents each child or adult that LEGO creations do not need to be big in order to be cool and creative. The set came together quickly, it's a lot of fun to make stories with all of the builds (including the bird on the front of the box), and I definitely would recommend this product to a friend. Great set for the kiddos to create fun pieces! This helps keep them busy when they're stuck indoors this winter. This would be a great starter kit and helps expand a collection.

THIS IS A GREAT BEGINNERS SET. I GOT FOR MY GREAT-NEPHEW. HOPE HE WILL ENJOY IT AS MY CHILD DID. I FEEL IT'S A GREAT TOY FOR CHILDREN. I FEEL I GOT A GOOD DEAL ON IT.
My four year old Granddaughter loved the Lego set, and played with more than any other present on Christmas Day. She completed two little projects on her own- mostly successfully! Thanks!
Legos are a time tested favorite of many years. They encourage learning and agility, and problem solving. Also life lessons like a sense of satisfaction with accomplishment, responsibility( they have to be picked up), and learning to play alone , or share.Very affordable for a small gift.
LEGOs are a great way to help kids work on their necessary skills. While regular LEGOs teach kids how to follow a specific plan to get an expected project, Classic LEGOs help children plan, develop and create a new project every time. The best part is that they can go back in the box and be ready for a new project.
Almost ALL the pieces inside are little (ie: no actual bricks but instead eyes, wheels, flat 1x4 or 1x2, or other random ones). You can build the three little things pictured but there is little creative play value to this box beyond that as a result, which is what was disappointing to me. It’s less expensive than other boxes, but it’s not worth it and I’d recommended spending a bit more and getting the Creative Suitcase or something slightly more substantial. Still love LEGOS but this box was a miss.
They set is ok, but you can find better value for your money. I ended up buying a much larger set with a case at the grocery store. It was double the price, but wayyyy more lego. We like the building ideas that come with it.
I was slightly ambivalent about buying these for my 3.5 year old son. He plays with Duplo and loves them so the transition seemed inevitable but I wasn’t convinced he was ready for these “big kid” legos. Well I was proved wrong. The first one we built from this set was the train. He followed each step and to my surprise needed very little support from me in putting it together. We then did all the other items in this set. Eventually he did need more support but he loved making each item! This set was a great buy!
