Our kids loved legos so i bought a pack for our grandson, 4 1/2 years old. He needed a bit of help at first but now is able to build independently. He loves them! Keeps him occupied for quite a while, as 4 year olds go, anyway. I like this box because it includes a lot of brightly colored bricks plus a little bit of all the other parts like wheels and even a flat base piece. I think this box is a good value and a good starter box.

I love this set along with the other 3 sets. I also bought some off brand ones that work with lego’s. One off brand set I bough has 1,100 pieces and was 16.98. The set has a lot of different items to build. I have quit smoking so I need to keep my hands busy. I would love to get more of the lego brand but they are so expensive. I really wanted to get the Lego Disney Castle for my 13 year old granddaughter and I to build but it costs 524.99! Not in my budget. The sad thing about the Lego Company is, they give away the expensive ones to righ people. They could buy a few cases on their own and probably not miss the money. I got several sets of these and they kept my little charlatans aka my kids very busy. Easy to snap together, even for my children who have very little fine motor skills. I will say when they destroy each other's creations, it's a real travesty. Would repurchase, regardless.

I bought two of these. One as a gift for a 6 year old and one for my 4 year old. The six year old loved it. The 4 year old loved the stuff I made him, mini cars and a monster truck, but got frustrated when playing by himself. We've only been playing with it a week so I guess with time he'll figure it out.Summary:- awesome toy, great quality, several very very tiny parts e.g. flat dot lights about 2mm in size that go on cars. So if you have a very young child in the house that likes putting things in his/her mouth, this toy is a no no. Other than that, I strongly recommend!

not appropriate for a 4 year old. The acessory pieces are ridiculously tiny. Reminds me of pieces to a model plane or car. A 4 year old cant keep up with pieces. Still a choking hazzard for a 4 year old too. im really dissapointed.
This is the perfect megabox! I had no idea this thing even existed and during the quarantine, we are looking for things for our son to do. We have purchased so many little sets but this is exactly what we have needed. There are wheels and everything needed in this set to allow them to take the other sets they have used and tie everything together. This was such a hit at our house! Tons of playing alone and imaginative play. Just perfect
My opinion is built into the title of this product: classic. A classic Lego set both by name and in spirit. I like the lower price. If the retailer here keeps lowering the price I'll buy more. I really like the extras like tires and so on that come w/ the classic stuff. It makes it more modern and improves upon that which was already great.
