This set is amazing in every way. I had only built the shuttle, so I am just going to review that. The mini figure was really cool, I love the design on its shirt and the backpack it has. Now for the shuttle.During the build, there were no repetitive parts, and the set is overall really fun to make. It was nice seeing the cockpit go together and making the wings was fun too.Now for the aesthetics. The space shuttle is very beautiful, smooth at its surface, and the face is unique, unlike past space shuttle sets. It was nice seeing the blue line, not just black and white. The engines were really cool as sprouting from the middle and spreading out in different directions. The play value is pretty fun. Overall, really good set, nice play value, nice aesthetics, nice build, and nice mini figure.

My 7 yr old son loves NASA stuff as well as Star Wars, this was a quick fun set for him to put together. He completed the shuttle in about 3 hours. He also has just a shuttle lego set that was harder for him and his dad had to help with that. He said this set wasn’t too hard yet really kept his interest and seemed well put together. He loves the “3 in 1” sets and told us he plans to take it apart and make the space station next weekend, then the ranger after that. Great set. For less than $30 we really recommend this set for any LEGO and/or space lover!

The Lego Creator series is by far my favorite series, with this specific set being my absolute favorite out of the entire 3-in-1 series. The Shuttle was a joy to build and display, and the alternate builds were just as fun! Perfect difficulty level for an older child, but enough variety for all ages to enjoy! Don't worry about leftover pieces; this series will have a few leftover bits and studs depending on which build you've chosen.

I've built at least 3 or 4 Lego shuttles over the years and while this is of impressive size it feels unfinished. The photographs of it are taken on ideal angles. Holding it in your hand you just get the feeling it's missing something. I can add some customization but it's very blah. The bottom is just flat plates. It doesn't even rest on rounded flat pieces, let alone some sort of landing gear. I'll probably throw on some of the old airplane wheels from older sets, just so it doesn't feel like it's laying on the floor or shelf. Also, of all the Lego shuttles the cargo bay doors are difficult to close easily. I've been back and forth and can't seem to prevent it from getting stuck when I got to close it.Finally, there is plenty of room in the cargo bay, would ... MoreI've built at least 3 or 4 Lego shuttles over the years and while this is of impressive size it feels unfinished. As is I have them just laying in there.

Lego Space?
3 July 2017

Saw this set and was reminded of the Lego Space range I played with when younger (now in the loft and in need of retrieval), so was an easy decision to make to buy. Particularly when you get 3 models in 1 set for £25All the models in this set are easy to make. The vehicle took about 30 minutes to make, the building about an hour, and the shuttle about 90 minutes.Enjoying the models when built is always a must. The building that can be made with this set is fun, yet on its own, seems more of a display piece. Would be better if enjoyed with other Lego models (preferably other non Star Wars, space themed Lego)The vehicle and the shuttle itself can be enjoyed in their own right as a 'toy' or as a display.Big FUN either way :-)

Excellent set, have only completed the shuttle thus far, build quality is very good (rigid) approx 10" in length so has play-ability. Built in under an hour by my 5 year old son (nudged in places by me).The shuttle itself is very accurate in design, the opening hatch and movable satellite arm make it excellent for display, for me..a few decals on the wings or nose cone would have been a nice finishing touch.Good detail on the astronaut torso, additionally i may attach a transparent 2x1 and fit it to the legs and place him on the shuttle wing to create the sense of floatingin summary a good set with many options and a fabulous price, in my opinion "a set worth having"jaycuk

Shuttle and Moon Station
19 August 2017

I loved the shuttle, very real looking, and was fun to build. While very cute, the Moon Station was a little disappointing in that the backside is "open" to the "vacuum" of space, and seems incomplete. I realize that 3-1 kits are limited by the parts available for the main assembly. There are attachment points there that would seem to indicate that perhaps there will be other kits available in the future that would attach. In the meantime, one has to use their own available parts to enclose or enhance the Station. And that's part of the fun of LEGO.

Two issues, a world of fun!

The shuttle is great and I am extraordinarily happy to see 2019 sets capitalising on an evident interest in space among Lego fans, but I have two aspects to the set that are problematic:1: The minifigure needs to be disassembled before flying. More realistic, yes, but to decreases the play value and increases the likelihood of lost pieces2: The cargo bay doors require a lot of attention to close properly. I rebuilt three times and had my daughter take a quick break so that I could make sure that we (she) built it properly. It is to plan, but the closure, while complete, requires "training" to fall into place properly.Wishes:I will give a pass on the satellite not staying attached inside of the cargo hold; it would still be nice. I am assuming that there are extreme size limitations to make this work, even for the in-house Master Builders. Why no transparent satellite stand? Once it is out, it would be nice of it could stand on its own!How about some grey jewel pieces for moon rocks? Every kid is taking this for planetary samples.

Why so many space shuttles?
2 July 2018

I got this set because it ha a lot of nice pieces and such. But, I ask myself, why so many space shuttles? The shuttle program shut down 6 years ago! What LEGO really needs is more rockets, mars bases, space stations, and space capsules! Do you know how hard it is to make a space capsule with room for enough astronauts and awesome functions? Hard! But. Overall it’s nice. I just had one complaint. It was very.... VERY incomplete! I added my own control panels to each build to fill it up. What LEGO REALLY needs is to bring back everyone’s favorite childhood toy, the classic space theme!
