I've used Lexar cards for years without any issues. I bought a pair of these 128gb 2000x cards. Initially, they worked without issues. However, one of the cards developed a tendency to lock up my Canon R8, resulting in cannot access card messages. I could alleviate this by ejecting and reinserting the card. I also noticed that the card was incredibly slow uploading images. On the last shoot I used it on, an upload that should've taken 2 minutes instead took 30+ minutes. I threw away both cards. I lost all confidence and cannot depend on performance when needed.NOTE: I have bought other Lexar cards since (not the x2000) and have had nothing but solid performance.

These Lexar 64 GB SDXC V-60, UHS-II cards works reliably in my Sony a6700, and Canon R5. I shoot photos only (no video) but 8 fps bursts of up to 16 shots load immediately.Stress testing using BlackMagicDesign (1-GB files) through a Lexar USB 3.1 card reader (UHS-I connection only) directly connected to an iMac USB-C port resulted in a sustained write speed of 38.5 MB/s and a read speed of 43.1 MB/s.. Obviously the write speed is limited by the UHS-I contacts only, so does not begin to represent the true write speed capability of this card in an UHS-II equipped camera.No idea of the long-term reliability of this card, but Lexar has an excellent reputation. I have many Lexar Cards and even the 10-year old ones still work fine in my Canon 80D.

memory cards are supposed to store your images just taken on your camera, and when its time download to your computer etc. I have used many different brands over the years including Sandisk and Sony to name a few, ALL have done their job, with good speed and no problems what so ever with any brand. Maybe i am lucky, dunno, but they just plain work. The Lexar 1800 here i recently bought, 2 cards at 128 gb, do exactly the same. They are just as reliable as my Sony tough cards have been. Speed much the same. Since i do only a little 4k60 video, and shoot tons of stills on my Sony A7R5, this is enough speed as has been the Sony and Sandisk V60 cards i have. These Lexar cards work just as well as the other top brands i have used.

My concern was with shooting stills, and specifically action shots where I'd be shooting High Speed drive mode (e.g., birds in flight, rodeos, sports, etc)My test involved timing how long it would take to hit the buffer on my R5 and how many shots I would get before that happened. Then, I timed how long it took to clear the buffer once it was full. Please note that I only went through the test a couple of times so this is by no means scientific.The Lexar 512GB V60 card did hit the buffer a little sooner, but was within half a second of the V90 cards. When the buffer was hit, the V90 card yielded around 73 images while the V60 only gave me 67. Yes a small difference, but not one that would matter to me very often, if ever. I don't typically hold down the shutter for 7 seconds but rather tend to shoot it short bursts of a couple seconds at a time. The other test was to see how long it took each card to clear the buffer once it was full. The difference here was a little more noticeable. The V60 card would clear the buffer in around 14 seconds, while the V90 was 5 seconds faster at 9 seconds. I could see where this could be an issue for some people, like professional sports shooters, but for me this difference will likely never be an issue, or at least very rarely.I've had this card in the camera for a bit over 5 months now and have determined that, for 99.99% of my use cases, this V60 card is more than adequate for my needs. Should I find myself in a venue where I feel a need a little more speed, I still have a couple of the 128GB V90 cards I can always use, or I can just shoot to the CFe card. Going forward I can't see spending significantly more $$ for V90 cards. I have been very happy with the performance/ price of this Lexar 512GB V60 card. That said, I won't say I'd never buy another V90 card...I could see myself getting more V90 cards if a very good deal were to come along, otherwise the V60 is a great value and I'd have no problem buying more of them.

I upgraded to this LEXAR Pro SDXC 1800x card and it made my photography so much better. My old SD card only had a write speed of 64 MB/sec. When I shot with rapidfire at 11 FPS my buffer would not write fast enough and firing halted as the camera speed choked the writes at around 15-16 frames. With this new Lexar Card I never have buffering and never stop writing. It captures tons of frames and never stops writing to memory. So pleased with this card's speed. I'm a happy camper. Thanks LEXAR. And it's priced as a 2-PACK so it's an extreme bargain. A No Brainer.
As a full time pro photographer my memory cards make or break me keeping my money after shoots. I absolutely trust Lexar cards and have been using them exclusively for nearly 20 years now. My preferred cards are the silver 1667x 64g cards. I don’t use bigger than 64g with me not wanting to much of a full shoot to be on one card in case of corruption. 64g gives me nearly 500 images at full resolution for my Pentax 645z or my Fuji 50s ii. These cards are plenty fast enough to keep up and are absolutely reliable. I shoot thousands of photos a week and can’t remember the last time I’ve had a corrupted or failed card. They are the best!
