I was the very happy owner of a previous Lian Li case, which prompted me to look out for another one of their cases when looking to update. I picked this one based upon its generally good reviews, price, and size. The construction is pretty good, good strong aluminium, well ventilated, good built-in fans, plenty of space for longer GPUs.There are however, a few things that I found difficult to work with. The worst was the SSD storage areas have a big flaw when used with my power supply's cables - the cables must be flat, whereas the ones with my power supply have the wires connected at right angles, meaning that the wires would get bent if I forced them in. It would also have been good to have thumb screws on the PCIe slot covers, rather than normal screws.I've had this case for about 10 weeks at the time of this review. If all of my components were the latest, I'd probably have a much more positive view of this case. But as a few of my components are older (e.g. power supply, using 2.5 inch SSDs instead of NVMe), it's not quite so well suited.

Easy enough to build in. The usual Lian-Li build quality I've perceived over the last few years. It's a neat form factor that sits nicely on my desk. I like the dual chamber design.I like to cable-manage and while this case has good places to run your cables, you will inevitably end up with a nest of cables gathered in the cable-management channel behind the motherboard - it's hidden behind the drive tray & the mesh panel on the back so it won't be an eyesore, but I know it's there and it bothers me. I don't regret this purchase at all... just make sure you get the revised version of this case with the bigger hole pattern as the original version doesn't exactly live up to the "air" moniker...

011 Air Mini, Now With More Glass
27 January 2023

For anyone wondering, this is the O11 Air *Mini* but with a FRONT glass panel (vs mesh), like the OG glass Mini (non Air) from a few years ago but ever so slightly bigger. And just like the 011 Air Mini this one supports an ATX PSU (vs the original mini (non Air) which required an SFX one.)With the glass front panel, it's not really something I'd consider "air" anything but hey ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . Cooling is not an issue however, and it looks great with the glass front. Let's be real, you're buying this case to show off your compoents, so a couple degrees warmer isn't a deal breaker. All in all, this is a perfect mid-tower-ish sized case to build a nice show piece. If you like the O11 line, you'll love this one. Same design, smaller package.

A tremendous design upgrade with enough space and features for most.
24 January 2022

It has been over a decade since I had a new PC case, so it was definitely time to upgrade. After doing a decent amount of research I settled on the 011 Air mini. It is is a fantastic case to build on, and feels like it will last.Even with the side and top panels removed and much of the rear modular grid, the frame is very sturdy. The "dual chamber design" means that the power supply has a bit of a thermal shield from the motherboard and other components (aside from drives) and has lots of room to vent (remember to place the fan grille facing out!).If you do not have a modular power supply you'll still be wrangling a lot of cables but there is enough space in the power supply/hard drive area to facilitate hiding those unsightly cables.Biggest complaint is the ... MoreIt has been over a decade since I had a new PC case, so it was definitely time to upgrade. If you have the white version, it is very easy to scratch the finish as you remove and replace screws so go slowly and be cautious.Lian Li included all of the extra screws you could need for your build, as well as soft mounting pads for the hard drives. The modular expansion ports as well as removable drive caddie mean that you can do a lot with this very compact case. Highly recommended with a few important caveats

An Air Mini with a glass front.
22 April 2023

This is a MC exclusive. An Air Mini with a glass front. You can use a standard ATX power supply too. This is probably the best looking build I have ever done, and I have done so many in 20 years. . It's dazzling when all lit up. People notice it when they walk in the room.I am for certain an odd duck around here since I am not a gamer and I'm a AARP member. Air cooling is fine for me, so I can't speak to water cooling in this case . One tip I will give is to attach a CPU power extension to the board before you mount the board. It can get really tight in that corner, at least it did on my board.

I picked up this case to get away from a standard form factor case.Specs:Msi X670E Pro GamingRyzen 7 5800X3dAsrock Taichi 6800xt64GB Corsair 3200 CL16Seasonic Focus Gx 1000 Watt9 Thermaltake Rgb FansThis case has significantly more room to build in than what I thought it would. Fits everything like a glove and was easy to cable manage. Temps are great with the GPU idling at 36c and the CPU at 38c. The price to performance and the size is just fantastic. It is short but really deep.

Like the TARDIS from Dr. Who, with caveats
25 February 2023

Like the regular O11 Air Mini (SKU 338277), this case is like the TARDIS from Dr. Who - bigger on the inside than on the outside - with some caveats. It has a smoked glass front panel instead of perforated steel and apparently some tweaks to the top radiator mounting arrangements (it may be that it can accommodate 360mm without an offsetting adapter, but don't quote me on that). It can fit full sized ATX boards - and even some eATX boards. That said, I had to install my Gigabyte Mini-ITX "5 slot" configuration in order to clear the CPU AIO pump. Purchased the optional vertical CPU stand, which positions the card closer to the bottom of the case in this configuration, leaving you no room to mount standard 25mm case fans underneath (as per the instruction manual). I may try three "slim" 15mm fans and see if they fit.Case was not able to accommodate a 120mm exhaust fan at the back with the MSI SUPRIM Liquid RTX4090 installed vertically - the card is just a bit too tall. 3D printed 120mm to 92mm "offsetting" adapters are available on Etsy which will provide the necessary clearance.

Well thought out and machined case. The amount of mesh on this is insane and the airflow through the case somehow produces more noise than the fans. Interchangeable back panels are very nice. Using a 280mm AIO with topmount gives plenty of space in the 5-slot configuration. The back area is a bit tight with all the cables and would be even more cramped if I had ssd mounts back there but was still manageable. If this is your first build in this case, take your time. Only complaint was how deep the preinstalled standoffs were screwed in for the 7-slot configuration. They were mounted tightly enough to remove the paint from underneath them. this case is very interesting. the first thing everyone seems to notice is the shape (it's almost a square). its actually a lot more spacious than i expected. a lot of clearance for my gtx 1070 ftw. i really love the layout with the wires/psu/ssds not showing. this thing has a lot of ventilation. now.. onto the not-so-great stuff. the side doesn't fit an arctic 240mm due to it's radiator size... unless you take out the front case fans but that kind of ruins the purpose. it also doesn't fit on the top due to ram (ballistix max which is short). it only fits on the front and bottom. i decided on a corsair capellix h100i on the side instead which fits perfect (but keep in mind, the white aio isn't the same white as the case) i put fans on the bottom the legs are too ... Morethis case is very interesting. the first thing everyone seems to notice is the shape (it's almost a square). its actually a lot more spacious than i expected. a lot of clearance for my gtx 1070 ftw. i really love the layout with the wires/psu/ssds not showing. this thing has a lot of ventilation. now.. onto the not-so-great stuff. the side doesn't fit an arctic 240mm due to it's radiator size... unless you take out the front case fans but that kind of ruins the purpose. it also doesn't fit on the top due to ram (ballistix max which is short). it only fits on the front and bottom. i decided on a corsair capellix h100i on the side instead which fits perfect (but keep in mind, the white aio isn't the same white as the case) i put fans on the bottom the legs are too short to let enough air in. sitting the case on a monitor stand designed with holes on it was enough to fix that problem. also, as you can see in pics.. OVER TIGHTENED SCREWS. to the point that i had to destroy the screws to get the front fan brackets off. the screws left unslightly marks, luckily it's on the inside. one thing that's not on the inside... my side panel has chipped paint on the bottom edges. kind of annoying but at least it's not terribly noticable since it's not the glass side. despite these problems, i'm still really happy with my purchase and intend on keeping it.
