Bike provides a great work out and is easy to use... once you get it set up. I pride myself on not being threatened by a flat-pack but this one threw me for a loop. One key thing is that all the screws aren't in a separate package (which I spent 5 minutes looking for) but are screwed into where they need to be, which means twice the work honestly. The instructions are thorough in all the wrong places, giving you three steps on how to screw on the feet and just saying "attach the seat" when it's a little more complicated than that.Speaking of the seat, it's weird and I would say it's the one aspect of the actual bike that I'm not a fan of, it has a habit of adjusting itself when you don't want it to and can really break your stride.

Easy to assemble; Super quiet.

I bought this to replace a friction-resistance exercise bike which was pretty noisy. This is super quiet. It was easy enough to assemble once I figured out that they had put the bolts in place rather than putting them in a separate bag. I haven’t owned it for long but so far so good and I’m happy overall.

Great first exercise bike
2 September 2021

Very pleased with purchase. Easy to assemble, very sturdy. The variety in modes with the computerised magnetic tension control is great. Importantly the seat is comfortable. The LCD screen is easy to use and the addition of USB charging point and device holder. For the price i am very happy with this bike.

Incredibly quiet, small space suitable
25 June 2021

Very happy, it fits the narrow/short space really well and runs SO quietly. I too had issues with the seat initially but it’s worked really well since I got a muscular relative to tighten the attachment rather than relying on the best I could do. The seat itself is a nice, comfortable shape for wider hips. Overall I recommend the bike

Quality bike. A good midway piece of equipment between the flimsy cheap ones and the expensive commercial ones. I was looking to buy a refurbished one like I use at my physiotherapy studio but they didn’t have any available for a number of weeks and I needed to get going with my rehab. Found this for half the price of the refurbished one with all the features I needed and it arrived in 1 week. High user weight is a good indicator it will be stable, which it is. Easy to assemble. Range of digital programs (no need to manually adjust tension with a knob). Magnetic fly wheel so it’s almost silent as less prone to wear and tear. Book rest although I make more use of the phone cradle more as I watch streaming series and it’s at the top so it doesn’t cover the digital ... MoreQuality bike. Seat adjusts easily up and down and forward and back for optimal position. Only feature it doesn’t have that more expensive ones I looked at had was self-driven power so you don’t need a power source for the screen, but as it’s not designed to be moved around too much (bulky) it’s not a big deal plugging it in somewhere.

Mediocre.

Resistance completey gave way in less than 6 months. I ride about 2-3 times a week, in front of the TV. About 25kms a session. E7 error presents on monitor. Painful process trying to get a repair or refund. Frustrating!

Reasonabhly satisfied with the service now
17 August 2022

This replaces my earlier review...Easy to put together and comfortable to use. Doesn't go to a very high resistance but it should be enough for most people. I did have an issue with the bike after 10 months but a replacement was eventually supplied, which was good service. Keep your box just in case.

Unusable heart-rate rate reading
21 September 2022

Contacted Global Fitness support about the pulse reading showing a range 59 to 144 while my actual heart rate was between 140 and 150. The heart rate displayed was generally 20 or more points lower than my actual heart rate. Their response was "With regards to your issue, the pulse sensors are not medical devices. Various factors, including the user's movement, may affect the accuracy of heart rate readings. The pulse sensors are intended only as an exercise aid in determining heart rate trends in general." The wide variation invalidates three features of the bike - heart rate, recovery rate and max heart rate warning. It also invalidates their statement that it provides heart rate trends because of its significant inaccuracy. Very happy!

Great quality and looks great, works really good and whisper quiet, bike was also packed well. Screen function a little outdated and choosing users needs pwr reset. Delay of about 5 seconds when changing resistance. It also crashes ONLY if you try to charge phone whilst audio plug is in so have fully charged phone ready if doing a big workout. The programming is good and offers a full range of training options. Pulse meter works well. It cycles through the data that is already displayed and tells you on the largest screen, it can get annoying and it should just stay on just one. But apart from the screen programming being a little outdated, I would fully recommend this item and for the price is excellent value compared to anything else on fleabay. Communication good ... MoreGreat quality and looks great, works really good and whisper quiet, bike was also packed well. Screen function a little outdated and choosing users needs pwr reset.
