I get oily roots and I always want more volume, so this is now one of my favourite conditioners.But I agree with the other reviews - it is not a good detangler. This conditioner effectively helps by repairing and protecting the hair. It leaves my hair shiny & feeling more hydrated. I love that the formula protects against breakage as well. I have received several compliments from clients on how great my hair looked this past week.This conditions and hydrates my hair perfectly. I like that it leaves it smooth and shiny. It styles beautifully and has bounce and volume. I like that it reduces my flyaways as well. I am noticing fewer split ends even with using hot tools a few times a week. This formula is good for hair that is dry but generally healthy.

I decided to try this shampoo and conditioner since I had a gift card. I like the grey and white bottles since our shower is open so i like the colors and design, but that is the only thing I like. Even after turning the conditioner bottle upside down, it is still very hard to squeeze out. The products also dried my hair out. I have normal to dry hair since I do highlights but as soon as I switched back to my former products after using this for 10 days, my hair was soft and manageable again. I do not recommend this at all. I have friends who like the dry shampoo, but these were a waste of my gift card. I’ve never taken the time to leave a review about shampoo and conditioner but these are too expensive to take a chance on.

This is the worst conditioner I've ever used in my life. I have Asian, virgin hair that has natural soft waves and every time I've used this conditioner it left my hair NATTY, NOT SMOOTH, and NOT SOFT! I don't use spray in conditioner, but this finally gave me a reason to use my samples because I REALLY needed it! I was truly excited to try this because it's loved by many but it's a no go for me. I wish I could return the product but it's pass the return window.

The PHD conditioner was a weird experience. Couldn't tell whether it was a decent conditioner or absolutely terrible. Definitely not a revolutionary conditioner. Thought it could provide mild moisture, softness, and shine to the hair. However, it gave a waxy feeling to the hair after washing. It kind of went away when dried but after trying it out more, I really disliked how it made the hair feel after drying and days following. Hair doesn't feel clean; hair was more static-y; no noticeable shine. Seems like you have to convince yourself it's a decent conditioner instead of it actually being good. It's not the worst silicone-free conditioner - but it's not worth the price.
This conditioner is incredibly repairing and nourishing! I don’t need much for my long hair and it instantly nourishes my hair. I have color treated and heat styled hair that is quite damaged but makes my hair look healthier and stronger! It really makes my hair insanely smooth, silky, and soft. This conditioner deeply hydrated and detangles my hair. It has a wonder smell and really feels luxurious. It makes my hair feel luscious and renewed. I love using this conditioner combined with the accompanying shampoo. It makes for a fantastic combo of silky, smooth, and soft hair!

I will be reviewing the shampoo and conditioner used together, but also how each product works on it's own:As for the conditioner, I noticed the packaging says new and improved. I have used this in the past although this new one was gifted by Living Proof.I enjoy this conditioner as it seems to deeply nourish my hair and yet it is very gentle. There's a pleasant slightly floral aroma as you massage it into your hair, and I can feel the immediate burst of hydration that it provides.I have one comment though on the packaging - it can be difficult to dispense the conditioner due to its thick texture. It’s not a deal breaker and I just store it upside down.
