Lodge products are always well-made and last for generations.This size is perfect for cooking a single serving chicken breast, hamburger or whatever.The best way to clean is to scrape on top of and between the ridges with a plastic tool. Wash with a non-metal scrub sponge and apply a conditioning oil after rinsing and drying.

It had deep grooves which I wanted, so the food stays above grease that drips down. Working out pretty good, cooking chicken tenders and hamburger and using the skillet on a New Wave induction cook top. It had only one not so good feature, handle gets hot, I clamped some wood over it because I sometimes forgot to use oven mitten. Healthy way to cook meat especially, I coat chicken with panko, lay in skillet and drizzle some olive oil over it, cover skillet, cook 8 minutes each side at 250 degrees. Very tender. Clean skillet with screwdriver in grooves and scrape top with putty knife, drain grease, maybe not for extra neat people, still, others might live longer.

I wish that I would have picked one without grill mark's be very careful not to burn yourself i had forgotten just how Hot they get
Great little pan for one person! Love it.
Good, handy kitchen tool. I like the small size. It puts grill marks on almost anything like a single steak. The thickness of the metal means that the pan will last forever and make a nice heirloom.. It joins my cast iron collection.
Very disappointed with this pan. It says that it’s seasoned but I made sure I used a little more oil before I cooked. It was horrible the salmon I cooked stuck to it and made a mess. I thought I would try it again using hamburger, again a total disaster and a mess. The only thing this pan would be good for is to use as a weapon. It is heavy so if you hit someone over the head with this you would do some damage. Not that I’ve tried it LOL.
This is a very small pan: 6.5 inches is the outer dimension, measured at the upper edge. More like 5 inches of actual cooking surface. Great quality, if it meets your needs, but very small.
I did not like the fact that this pan has no ribbed bottom like described
