Works great with Microsoft Teams. My computer and Teams immediately recognized it as an option for both video and microphone. The microphone is clear even from about 3 feet away. I have been told that if I move from side to side, the camera view changes to put me in the middle of the frame. Video quality is great. The mounting is acceptable and adjustable, but doesn’t clamp tight(not spring loaded). The camera also swivels 360 degrees, which makes it easy to adjust right where you want it to point.

When the camera is in use, two blue accent lights on either side of the lens will light up, letting you know that youre on camera.As I mentioned earlier, video quality is very good, and so is the audio quality, thanks to the stereo microphones. Video call quality was very good, so this device does what it should, and does it well. The camera works well with apps such as Skype, but if you want to record your own videos, youll want to use dedicated software. Logitech makes the software available as a free download from their website. The software is very good, but it is confusing that Logitech still lists Windows 7 and 8 in its requirements. When I saw that, I wondered if I was at the right place. It turned out that I was, but it would have been better if Logitech were to set up a dedicated link just for getting the software instead of dropping us into their support site. Thats not the end of the world, but with so many other products, its not hard to click on the wrong thing and end up in an entirely different place. Once I got the software installed, it worked well and was very easy to create videos, with plenty of different options to choose from.Overall, this is a definite step up from the builtin webcam, and at a price that makes it worth doing. I havent tried other webcams that are available, but Im happy with this one.

Theres actually two, mounted on the left and right of the camera. I tried setting the mic input to max, but the test videos had the audio rather lacking in volume and quality. The Logitech Capture app allows you to use other available microphones on your computer. So if you had a good one, youd be inclined to use that for a podcast recording or Skype.There is a funny little included plastic clip that opens and can be placed over the camera lens if you want to make sure the camera wont transmit an image should it be hacked or accessed by someone without your knowledge. Planned paranoia All in all, this is an excellent web cam with good quality build and resolution, almostmacro focus range, and seems well worth its selling price.

In lower light conditions the camera automatically adjusts its ISO setting to keep the image bright. I have found that I can still be easily seen while in a darkened room, and only the light from my screen is illuminating me.The dual stereo mic does a good job of picking up audio even from a distance. This is really useful to me when I am Skyping through my Xbox. The camera is on top of my TV and I am sitting about 1215ft away. I dont have to shout, but rather talk in a fairly normal tone and the other party can hear me just fine.Overall I was really happy with the first camera I bought. It worked great and delivered on its specs and performance. I liked it enough that I bought a second to use as the camera on my Xbox. It has a solid priceperformance argument going for it.

Very quality, rich video produced from this camera.Overall, the video features were all great and performed very well, but the lack of clear audio selectioncontrol of the cameras microphones and the missing but advertised shutter clip were a let down. Id give this product a 3.5. based on what I experienced. Had the issues I mentioned not been present, this would have easily been a 4.5 rated product. Would recommend to folks who do not care about having a privacy shutter and who already have a solid audio mic system in place on the device they plan to use this with. Would suggest those with privacy concerns avoid altogether since the box gives the impression the shutter is included although it isntwasnt.
I got the Logitech C920S webcam to replace an aging 720p webcam on a desktop that was beginning to fail. Its a huge upgrade over the old camera, but not quite state of the art and not without some shortcomings.The camera is a low, wide design, about one inch tall and four inches wide. The two microphones are one either end of the camera, making for acceptable separation. The mount is rather clever, allowing the camera to be used on skinny laptops, thicker monitors with curved backs, or desks mounted. It also has a tripod mount screw. There is no physical pan or tilt adjustment. A clip on flip up privacy shield privacy shield is included.Installation was simpleWindows. Plug it into a ... MoreI got the Logitech C920S webcam to replace an aging 720p webcam on a desktop that was beginning to fail. Its a huge upgrade over the old camera, but not quite state of the art and not without some shortcomings.The camera is a low, wide design, about one inch tall and four inches wide. The two microphones are one either end of the camera, making for acceptable separation. The mount is rather clever, allowing the camera to be used on skinny laptops, thicker monitors with curved backs, or desks mounted. It also has a tripod mount screw. There is no physical pan or tilt adjustment. A clip on flip up privacy shield privacy shield is included.Installation was simpleWindows. Mount the camera on the top of the monitor or laptop screen, or put it to the side. Plug it into a USB port, it autoinstalls and pops up a link to download the Logitech Capture, which is control software. The Logitech Capture control panel is also simple, with adjustments for resolution, whitebalancing, autofocus, various filters, etc. Buttons for video record and snapshots.The image frame is quite wide angle and can be zoomed. The video quality is excellent, as is the audio. The image is sharp all the way to the edges, the color is nicely saturated, and the color balancing is excellent. The falloff in video quality between 1080p and 720p is minimal, which is nice for video on lower bandwidth links. There is some lag between the subject and the displayed image, but its not objectionable. There is a software pan and tilt, but only when zoomed in and only to the edges of the full image frame.As a webcam for video chatting or other fairly static presentations, this is a great choice. However, for more dynamic presentations, this webcam has some limitations. The autofocus hunts a bit when the subject is moving around the frame and it is very noticeable. Also, the lack of support for 60hz at 1080p or 720p speced at 720p, but not available in the software, makes dynamic scenes eg., lab experiments, music videos, etc seem a bit jerky. Also, its too bad that Logitech didnt choose an oversize sensor that could offer tilt and pan at full frame.Overall, a very nice webcam for chatting and conferencing, but the lack of 60hz support even at 720p and the autofocus performance make is a less desireable choice for many dynamic streaming applications.

I had a small tripod laying around and I used the tripod screw hole to place it closer to me and record me at a preferable angle and out of the way of my TVs line of view.
