Tasty and organic. These strawberries tasted exactly like strawberries and retained there beautiful pink/red colour. I used them for chia strawberry jam to go with scones, but they would equally be delicious in smoothies or baked goods. If you want organic strawberries then these are certainly an option especially out of season times. I prefer to keep food miles down where possible and these are high on the food miles as they are from Chile.

Berry Happy. I do not normally buy frozen fruit and was amazed how expensive these were. I like the big clear window on the front, so I knew roughly the size of the strawberries and helped me decide what I would like to use them for. I found they were a great addition to my smoothies. They were full of flavour and tasted smooth and delicious, I thought they may be watery like many frozen items but they weren't at all. I think they are great to keep in the freezer as unlike the fresh ones, there aren't any bad ones. You can have delicious smoothies/milkshakes when wanted with them straight from the freezer but I would not be purchasing at full price as they are way too expensive.

Great product, a little pricey. I like to have a selection of frozen fruit in the freezer as it comes in handy for so many things, a side for pancakes, pop it into chia pudding, have with some yoghurt & cereal for brekkie etc. However I generally buy blueberries, raspberries, and mango as I feel like they freeze/defrost betterI was very happy to receive this sample though to give these strawberries a try. It took me a few attempts to find in-store, I don't think a lot of macro products are well stocked in all stores. The packaging is lovely - clearly states that they're strawberries and they're organic. Too big for the muffins, instead I added them to chia pudding, once defrosted they're easy enough to chop up. They definitely have a very different texture to fresh strawberries but I don't mind that they're squishy when I'm using them as an ingredient in other things. In an ideal world I would buy organic versions for all of my ingredients, but they're just too expensive. Priced at $7. 50 for just 450g they're a whole $2. 60 more expensive than the non-organic version. Although I have enjoyed them as a sample, I probably would not purchase them again due to the price.

Makes The Best Vegan Strawberry Mousse Desserts!! Yes I love this product and have bought it countless times over. Being organic very much appeals to me because I just can trust more that this product hasn't been grown in 'who knows what soil and environment'. Being organic makes it much more pleasant for me to eat. I love using this for my recipe of Vegan Strawberry Mousse - I put the mixture into individual fancy dessert glasses and let them set in the fridge. My daughters love the surprise when they see them in there (they are young grown adults) so when they pop over or come home from work they ask, 'Is one of those for me?' and when I say 'Yes' they are delighted! My daughters love the surprise when they see them in there (they are young grown adults) so when they pop over or come home from work they ask, 'Is one of those for me?' and when I say 'Yes' they are delighted! This recipe offers a high protein suppplement to their diets (one loves the gym and the other is a food scientist and the other just likes them). So ya'all want to know the recipe by now right?! It's so simple and healthy - get your good blender out - this is the basis of it and you can tweak it as you like - I throw in a lot of these frozen organic strawberries (a couple of cups), 300g of silken tofu, one teaspoon of good honey, the finely grated rind of one orange and blend to smithereens. You can also add a good teaspoon of The Beauty Chef's Glow if you wish but that's not in the recipe but sometimes I add that too by the way! You'll end up with a pink creamy mixture that is not too sweet to taste but is amazingly sweet enough. We love it because we don't have much sugar in our diets and so this tastes great for us. Put the mixture into individual dessert glasses (I use my fancy ones) and sprinkle a little bit of extra orange peel onto the top for a decadent fancy look but make sure one who rind goes into the mixture itself because for some reason it's the peel of the orange that brings out the magical flavours in the ingredients.

So Sour. This wasn't a sample and I wanted to try a different type of frozen fruit to add to my porridge. I haven't purchased frozen strawberries before so I can't compare them with any other organic brand and at $8. 80 for 450g ($19. 56/1kg) they are expensive considering strawberries are readily available and aren't some type of rare exotic fruit. I generally love Macro organic products, as they aren't sprayed with nasty chemicals, herbicides and synthetic pesticides. They were more like seconds and reject quality than first quality. Frozen fruit is something I purchase often so a pack of 450g is too small. Packs should be at least 750g and definitely bulk packs of 1kg and they don't need any shrinking. These strawberries aren't Australian grown and package says packed in Chile from multiple sources. Customers should know where their food is sourced from and supermarkets not tracing back where food has come from is poor. Why Woolworths also don't support Australian farmers and source Australian, home grown strawberries is numbing. I expect a lot more of Macro products, especially being an organic product. l would also like to see Macro organic products on sale more often, just like conventional products. I won't be buying these again and Woolworths needs to go back and check the source of these strawberries and change supplier.

Nothing beats fresh. These definitely have their place in the market, but their uses are more limited when compared to fresh produce. These would be great in smoothing or as an ingredient in recipes, but you couldn't use them as cake decorations or anything that requires a visual appeal. I tried some in a recipe and then in some quick oats as a little flavour boost, and found them to be quite tasty. I also added some to an overnight chia seed pudding that I made and found them super mushy the next day. Using them as a component in smoothies would be perfect, or adding some into a pancake/waffle mix would also be an idea, but I can't see anyone using them as a topping for a Pavlova any time in the future.

Thanks, but NO THANKS. My friend said these organic frozen strawberries were nice, I gave them to her as I would not eat, try or buy them as they are packed in Chile from multiple origins. That is a big red flag for me whenever I see this labelling, even though it is certified organic I am still hesitant about buying products grown overseas for many reasons. When I see this label its a BIG NO NO FOR ME!!!!!!! I would rather take my chances and eat a punnet of organic Australian grown strawberries that had needles in them, at least you could pick the needles out but you cant take out what you cant see. Come on Woolies we have some of the worlds best and cleanest food that consumers want, so how about supporting our Aussie farmers ... MoreThanks, but NO THANKS. Great flavour, many options on how to use. These are very tasty, but I can't really say that these are better or worse than other frozen strawberry brands. Price wise they are in the middle of other brands. They are great for home made ice-cream, on top of yoghurt, in chia bowls, smoothies, on top of breakfast cereal. I also make fruit roll ups with them too, by blending mango puree, these frozen strawberries and apple sauce together, smoothing out on dehydrating sheets, and putting in a low oven for a few hours.
