Very pleasantly surprised. Wow, was so surprised how good these were. Was quite skeptical as wholemeal pasta can be hit and miss for me. I read the instructions and it says to simmer for 10 mins which I thought unusual as you usually boil pasta. Glad I read it because it turned out beautifully. Kept it's integrity, al dente without getting mushy. So impressed, I will continue to buy it. Being organic is definitely an added bonus. Price is very comparable to other brands.

Healthier pasta alternative. I have been purchasing the penne and spirals but didn't realise Macro also had a wholemeal spaghetti. All three are a much healthier option to white pasta and I'm happy with the price and none of the family notice the difference in taste. I did find the spaghetti seemed to have a white residue on it which the other two didn't so I rinsed it first but it didn't seem to be an issue. My only negative would be that the Woolworths closest to me doesn't seem to stock it (probably why I didn't realise it was available) so I had to get it from another store in town.

Healthier Spaghetti . This spaghetti deserves a place in your pantry It's produced in Italy from organic durum wholewheat semolina. At $1. 65 it's good value given the extra health benefits. I like that it is lower in sugar and has more than double the amount of fibre than the durum wheat semolina spaghetti, thus earning it 5 health stars. Especially if you combine this with your regular spaghetti I don't think anyone will notice any difference so it'll make their insides happy without them knowing it's good for them I turned my Sausage Stew from my Macro Organic Passata sample into Sausage Spaghetti I highly recommend it to all of you

Good healthier option. I'm not usually a fan of wholemeal pasta (just not the same). I was pleasantly surprised this pasta doesn't have that distinct wheat taste and grainy texture like some other brand. Definitely more hearty and filling than the traditional white pasta! You don't have to eat as much because it's more filling. The price is very reasonable. This pasta is ideal for those seeking to increase their fibre intake without really sacrificing the taste.

Lots of Positives. Found on the top shelf at my Woolies and is a reasonable price for an organic product. A couple of extra minutes cooking time is no drama and as you can see after cooking stays lovely and separate. There’s an understandable colour difference with the wholemeal ingredients. I had expected that it would be a bit grainy after tasting the wholemeal penne but was very pleasantly surprised that it had a wonderfully smooth mouth feel. I really enjoyed this pasta with my bolognaise sauce and had a couple of torn bocconcini, I did add some parmesan too after the picture was taken. Made in Italy, wonderful quality and I will buy again thank you

I used these noodles for spaghetti bolognese last night and while everyone ate it, the noodles were definitely not the hero of the dish. They were quite dense and chewy. My family likes wholemeal bread, brown rice and oatmeal so I’d rather take the win there instead of trying to ruin everything they love with “healthier choices”. I’ve been lucky to get my kids to try lots of different foods and we all make pretty good food choices using a balanced approach - enjoying the healthy options whenever we can, but not sacrificing enjoyment of food in the process. Easily found in the dried pasta aisle product of Italy $1. 65 for 500g which would make about 8 decent meal servings instructions say to boil for 10 mins, but needed 15 mins to be al denote. The dodgy cooking instructions are probably why so many reviewers commented that this pasta is too chewy. Taste is as good as non-wholemeal pasta, but with added fibre benefit Plastic packet is recyclable through the Redcycle soft plastics recycling schemeI don’t eat much pasta, but if I want a spaghetti, yes I will buy this one.

A healthy option for pasta. This product was included as part of family day evening meal after a day at the cold, windy boat shed. Produced in Italy Made with organic durum whole-wheat semolina. Not being adventurous taste bud wise for wholemeal anything but being cold and hungry this was cooked and served separately with a bolognese sauce (including my sample of Woolworths Tomato Passata). Thank you Woolworths for the sample. Several family members tried it and enjoyed it saying they would consider buying it to have as a change from traditional pasta.

Very good. Very impressed with this wholemeal spaghetti even though I have never used it before and was a bit concerned how it was going to cook up. Surprise surprise! It was really as good as any other spaghetti that I have cooked. I did cook it for a few extra minutes after reading other Buncees reviews. Made a Spaghetti with prawns anchovy and garlic sauce which was al dente and held the sauce well. Will definitely buy again and thanks for a great sample.

Perfect wholemeal pasta. Macro Organic Wholemeal Pasta is always on my pantry list. I only use this for the added fibre and wholesome quality it is. I use it to make spaghetti Bolognese, cheesy pasta and even just a vegetable and tomato based dinner. I have also broken it up and added to soups. Goes well with homemade garlic bread. Texture is soft and yet does not fall apart. Flavour in our home and great price.
