The product was very good. works fine. However I had not expected that there is no official package. It was an only body with paper cushion wrapping. I was surprised. so conclusion, product was no problem. but it's a bit disappointment to FFX.

The description before purchasing and the prroduct itself were both spot on. My DTD 152 and all its associated bits and pieces sit very comfortably in the case and are now well protected.

This is a very compact and light drill which fits nicely in the hand. Very powerful motor, but it also has precise well engineered action. Easy to variably control from a very slow speed, upto full speed.

The Makita drill is very powerful, and very compact. Very pleased with it. But the Drill Case lets it down as it is very flimsy, especially if you put drill boxes under the insert. The insert to carry the drill, charger and batteries doesn't have a specific place for the spare battery, so it is just rattles around. It's as though it's the wrong insert.Well pleased with the Drill, Charger and Batteries but the rest lets it down.
First things first, I purchased this battery + charger + drill combo because it was only marginally more expensive than buying the batteries and charger, which I needed for another tool. What can I say about the batteries and charger? Not much; at 5.0Ah they last a long time, and charge in under an hour. The drill is rock-solid, and controls for torque, direction, speed, and hammer setting are firm and positive. The LED light is better than most, and the belt clip is handy. Some Makita customers claim that their drills' shaft isn't straight and that overall the brand's QA isn't what it used to be, but I must have landed a good 'un because I can't see any evidence of that. The only thing I'm not 100% comfortable with is the ratcheting sound when the drill comes to a ... It's similar to the torque limiter being hit when driving in a firm screw, and probably a symptom of the chuck's inertia briefly hitting that torque limiter when coming to a sharp stop, but since it only happens when I'm drilling fresh air I'm not too concerned.
Replaced a failed competitor with this. Wow. Power. Ease of operation. Hammer. Lights much better. Price! Takes the batteries from all my other makita stuff. Get one!
This is a replacement to a heavy duty makita combi drill whose gearbox packed up. So far I'm very impressed with the power and its lightness. I haven't used it yet for really heavy work; the fact it has no side handle may be a limitation in terms of handling higher levels of torque. Battery life with this newer model is much longer than in the old one
My old makita combi drill did many years of service before packing up! Thought i'd try brushless. So far so good. This drill is much shorter so easier tyo get into smaller spaces.
I have a collection of Makita Tools and always happy with the quality. This is similarly great but loses a star as drill bits seem to spin more than my last Makita drill. It might be user error, but just a slight worry. Otherwise, feel, noise, power all excellent.
I have been a Makita user for over 30 years. This was an upgrade to a brushless tool. I have not been disappointed. Great product. Highly recommended.
