Best money I have spent so far.. I don't have to try to throw a 4x8 sheet of plywood on my table saw...yes it is a little tough finding a storage space at that length but I used the wood box that came in and bolted it to my ceiling as a case

Good product. Saves having to join two rails together. Wish I had bought a long time ago

The method of shipping is a concern for a unit where being square and accurate is critical to working. It was simply wrapped in a single layer of 1/8" foam wrap with no other protection. The foam was ripped and portions missing but visually it appears to not have been bent during shipping.I Ordered for ripping down sheet goods on upcoming closet and kitchen projects but have yet to use so I don't know for absolute it's not bent.Aside form that it arrived quickly and was a very good price compared to what I was finding at other sites.

Better than expected

I purchased after reading about people trying the kit to join 2 shorter rails and being unsuccessful, so far after a few uses I am liking this long version. Shipping is a bit awkward as its so long, they did make a wood box but the box broke at some point in shipping, luckily the rail survived unharmed. To me this longer track was well with it. Had to meet the shipper at a local business because it came on a semi but that worked out fine. Because it shipped LTL you dont get tracking so that would be one improvement I would ask for.

Great price, fast shipping and well packaging

I wanted to get this guide rail for a long time and i finally found it here at a great price. I have been using it since i got it. I have a woodworking shop and this rail allows me to rip full sheet of plywood. It came super well packed. I actually use the package to storage the rail after use.

Half the price of festool and just as good

I bought this guide for my festool TS75 track saw. I already have the 55” and 75” Festool guides. The Makita track works perfectly with the TS75. It is also half the price of the festool guide I saved over $200 with this purchase over festool. The Makita track also fits festool or dewalt hold down clamps. So if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to festool guides that works just as well I highly recommend the Makita line of guides

Makita Guide Rail

This is as good as it is supposed to be. The factory does not file the ends, but that is easy to do yourself, so that the saw cord does not get cut or caught if dragging over the ends. The wood package it came in is good and necessary for this item, however mine was cracking open, but product survived. Staples are used but one side should be glued and the other using screws.

Precise cuts without a table saw

Rail guide was shipped in a long wooden box. I added hinges and made it into a permanent storage case. With the rail guide, I can make precise cuts every time. The clamping system is quick and easy to use.
