I got Makita 194385-5 Clamp Set for SP6000 rail guide. They work superb and hold the guide well with enough adjustment for various materials. They can also slide underneath the SP6000 rail guide so you can have very short cuts at differing lengths. A bit expensive but the quality is worth it.

Don’t love these clamps tbh. Can’t use one handed as have to move the clamping arm up and down with one hand and use the other hand to tighten. Tends to move the track if you try to do it quickly or with one hand. Will be getting some one handed ratchet clamps instead.

To be honest I’ve not used these yet, however I can see how good they’ll be when my workshop is finally set up. They’re decent enough quality without being an outrageous price especially from Toolden !

I bought these clamps not thinking I really need them. But knowing how straight edges work when they are the length or longer than a 8 foot side of a sheet of plywood, I know a clamp could help. When I use my 118 inch Makita track with my Makita cordless track saw, I line up one side of the track then take the shuttle bus to the other side of the plywood, (LOL). When I get to the other side and try to line up the track, the other side moves. These clamps slide underneath the track into a slit in the track. Completely out of the way. Now I could use another one of my non-track clamps, but these are out of the way, no cables or dust collection hose gets caught. These are very easy to slide in and have a wide throat to make it clamp on thicker stock. I use the plywood ... MoreI bought these clamps not thinking I really need them. These are very easy to slide in and have a wide throat to make it clamp on thicker stock. I use the plywood on top of a foam board and that foam is sitting on top of some OSB as well for a rigid flat surface. I read a few reviews where people complained about them and suggested the Dewalt. I don't have a single complaint. They were also on sale when I was buying the cordless track bundle and the 55 inch track and 118 inch.
Fits perfectly on the Makita rail. It seems that it is also compatible with the other rails of commerce, including Festool. I had already ordered this product when I saw that there was an equivalent product in one-handed clamping at Piher, compatible with the Makita rail .. To choose, I would have preferred the other, faster to put in artwork
bought to use on my multi function bench. The dog holes on my top are 20mm so had to drill out larger holes. These clamps work great holding the work piece firmly in place. A bit pricey but a lot cheaper than Festool.I would definitely recommend.
I am not a big fan of these. They might "get the job done" but there are much better options out there. I prefer to have the quick release / handle clamp style. These are a bit harder to screw into place and adjusting them up and down the bar is a bit of a task.
I bought these to use with my macallister track saw kit as they dont seem to do their own brand. Fitted lovely straight out of the box. Makes a big difference to accuracy
One of these clamps fitted the rail straight from the packet but I did note that the finish was really rough, this showed up when I tried to fit the second clamp to the rail, the nose went in about an inch then refused to budge any further. Rather than the hassle of doing a return I managed to grind the second one to size so that it fitted as well as the first one did. The thing being it wasn't just a single high spot but I had to reduce the dimensions on all four sides just to get the clamp section to fully enter, I even had to grind the fluted section to allow it to go up and down the length of the track.Genuinely surprised at such poor quality from Makita. That all said, now that they both fit I see no reason that I will get anything other than years of ... MoreOne of these clamps fitted the rail straight from the packet but I did note that the finish was really rough, this showed up when I tried to fit the second clamp to the rail, the nose went in about an inch then refused to budge any further. Got these for Macalister track saw rails like another reviewer. They fit though a bit on the loose side but they weren’t specifically designed for it. They do the job and will probably last but only time will tell. I had expected a higher quality of production from a company within Makitas reputation. The casting is fairly roughly finished and the screw threads are quite sloppy. I wasn’t expecting precision engineering but this is the quality I would have expected from a generic make on the internet for a lower price.
