This Violet is extremely GREEN!! Like it still has all the stems & leaves on. Bit of an awkward note, but I realised it makes this fragrance wayyy more wearable, balanced and not sickly sweet at all!Longevity is about 6 hrs, silage is moderate. I’ve had better performance from other Manceras but the scent makes up for it 100%.

A light floral violet and musk keeps it just in perfume territory, but the gourmand, yummy, nutty chocolate is definitely still centre stage.Choco Violette is simple but it's great at it. It would be a fun scent to wear to a party or a day out with friends, or even just a pick me up on weekends at home.

Sillage: My son asked me if I had been baking as I walked past him - I can't bake, baking doesn't feature on my skills list. Who this is best suited for: It smells very feminine to me but I don't feel fragrance has boundaries or recognises gender. Try this one, it's a hidden gem and one I will be repurchasing. ??
Gradually, the notes of chocolate become softer, warmer, thicker, more aromatic - the feeling is like from a black chocolate bar on which the sun's rays fell and the aroma of chocolate went for a walk around the room :). Then it transforms into the aroma of chocolate cookies with toasted nuts in the dough itself and generously sprinkled on top - thoughts involuntarily arose to run to the store for such cookies :)) In the residual notes, a woody note is added to the nut cookies (already without chocolate). Pleasant gourmet. I can't call it 100% edible, the notes of the aroma don't cross this line, but they suggest delicious cookies :) For some reason I didn't hear Violet ..
A s a huge chocolate fan, I bought this fragrance purely on reviews from other people and I'm glad I did. At first, I get a very strong hazelnut smell, with a hint of chocolate. As it settles though, the hazelnut softens and the chocolate intensifies to a beautiful fragrance. I can't detect any violet though, just a lovely sweet, warm choc- hazelnut smell. It lasts all day on my skin & even longer on my clothes & you don't need to spray too much to be able to smell it. As usual, dealing with Feeling sexy was simple. The item arrived in about 2/3 days, even during the current lockdown in NSW. I would definitely but this fragrance again.
To me this is more floral rather than gourmand. The initial spray is chocolate than the floral comes and the dry down is a floral, powdered chocolate. I could smell it for 2 hours before it was a skin scent. Not strong enough for my preference but otherwise a nice inoffensive scent. Highly recommend Feeling Sexy and enjoy the variety available.
Although the performance is not quite what I had hoped for and I need to apply more than I would like, I still plan on repurchasing when I run out. It smells that good!! Since this is compared to Montale's Chocolate Greedy, I'll do the same. Chocolate Greedy smells like chocolate cookie or cereal crumbs, and Choco Violette smells like a pretty, women's perfume with chocolate and nutty notes added.This was my first purchase from Fragrancex, and they will probably be my first stop from now on. I'm really impressed with them compared to similar sites.
Wow, this was love at first sniff. The powdery violets, the powdery chocolate. Great silliage and longevity. I can still smell it on myself when I wake up. Simply beautiful. Gourmand powdery heaven. Very Sweet. I adore this fragrance just don't go trigger happy it will start a life of its own lol it's a beast mode fragrances for sure, just a tiny delicate precious beast mode fragrance.
Its a nice scent, and not so powerful, so you can wear it almost whenever, but the problem is the drydown. It smells like a cheap vanilla body spray after the chocolate and violet notes fly off. The chocolate part is like a cocoa powder and doesnt last over 40 min after you spray it. The violet comes out afterwards and stays for about 3h. The leftover vanilla makes me feel like its a cheaply made scent, so its not worth the price of a Mancera. At least, the top notes smell good! Id layer this with Al-rehab Choco Musk to make it smell more expensive. I collect perfumes and the best Chocolate scents Ive found is from Guerlain and Kyse.
