I've been able to get my hands on several varieties of Manuka honey, and though they're all slightly different, it's hard to pick a favorite -until I tried this honey, that is. The texture of this honey is incredibly creamy- other Manuka honeys I've had all have a bit of crystal flakiness to them. I don't mind that, but I prefer the very finely grained texture of this honey- it's so much smoother and more pleasant in the mouth. The flavor is heavenly- sweet without being overpowering, intense honey flavor, delicately floral, and it leaves a wonderful aftertaste in the mouth. This honey blends more readily into cooled teas than other manuka honeys I've used, and the taste brings out the floral and/or fruitiness of the teas I drink in the evening. For a delicious ... I have someone in the family who's been suffering constant severe cough after recovering from pneumonia. To deal with this we decided to buy some Manuka Honey250+ from our local supermarket and the result was amazing compared to the prescribed medicine from the GP. We then decided to buy the stronger Manuka 540 to achieve quicker full recovery and after reading lots of good reviews about Manuka Doctor we ordered 2 pots of 500g MGO540, after using for 3 days and half the cough was coming back and got really bad quickly as if we stopped using Manuka. We stopped using Manuka Doctor and started again with our local supermarket Manuka and the result started showing again just after around 2 hours. We can't say this honey is fake as we have no strong evidence of that but ... Definitely not as it proved not good for the expected medical purpose from Manuka and taste was far from enjoyable. We'll advise friends and family not to buy Manuka Doctor based on our experience.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. As a fan of natural remedies and healthy eating, I have been wanting to try Manuka honey for a while now, and I am pleased to say that I was not disappointed with the Manuka Doctor brand. First and foremost, the taste is fantastic. It has a rich, sweet flavor with a subtle earthy undertone. I also appreciate that it is not overly sweet like some other honey brands, which can be overwhelming. In terms of quality, I was impressed with the packaging and presentation of the honey. The jar is sturdy and well-sealed, ensuring the honey stays fresh and doesn't leak. The texture of the honey is thick and creamy, indicating that it is of high quality and has not been overly processed. As for the health ... I started taking Maunuka honey again after having Covid last year. I was on a a jar of 100 MGO and recently started my jar of 140 MGO Manuka Honey. I generally take a teaspoon a day. I had a bad fall a couple of weeks ago sustaining three open wounds which required admission to A&E. In a short space of time two had healed and the large skinless area on the back of my hand, in spite of setbacks and areas of pus, has now almost closed over. It would normally have taken weeks of dressings. I can only think that the honey had something to do with it.
I usually order 140 to 250 to take 1 to 2 teaspoons with cider vinegar first thing in the morning. Manuka Doctor honey is so delicious I have never bought any other for nearly eight years now.I bought several jars of the 30 recently to give away as presents as there is no difference in taste between the low or high numbers. Everybody loves it. Gave a jar to a young woman in our Nationwide BS because she was so friendly and helpful. Made a friend for life.So much better health wise to give honey rather than biscuits or chocolates. Great fun for me too to get their reaction.Somebody asked me the other day if I get paid by you to advertise your honey hahaOrdering my honey by phone is a pleasure as the girls taking the order are so very friendly.
Just want to say, if you havent tried - try! Myself, my husband and my kids take tea spoon every morning, especially over winter times. To note, over COVID times, none of us had Covid - and as we are critical workers, our both kids were at school and none of us caught covid in 2 years. The only i could say - its thanks to our daily intake of Manuka honey. My little one, had it from age of 2y, spoon a day, starting with 30MPG and if stat caughing - we moving to 55-70MPG - just brilliant, sort caugh in few days. I buy from this website for ages, now moved to skin care products and capsules, love all products. we also have hand-cream and hand wash, couldn't recommend more either!!! Purchased today and was somewhat worried when I was told the best way to consume Manuka Honey is straight from a spoon in the jar. (I’d always put it in tea/porridge before). Little did I know that heat kills the amazing qualities.Hesitantly I bought it and put a teaspoon in. Oh my god it’s delicious! I was worried it would be super sweet or sickly as other honeys have been but it’s completely different. Smooth tasting, thick but slid down my throat super easily. It’s expensive (very, expensive). But if you get it on a deal it works out OK.I’m only day 1 but wondering where this honey has been all my life!
