I was hesitant at first about using this shampoo since my hair is wavy, not curly, but I'm glad I made this purchase! My hair has been presenting fuller and softer than ever before. I tried Pantene and similar products before deciding to try Maui Coconut shampoo and conditioner. I love the coconut scent this product emits. It invites imagery of tropical paradise whenever I clean my hair. I think I will be using this for the long haul! This has been by far the best decision I have made for my specific haircare needs!

5 🌟 to the Maui brand. I am trying all Maui shampoos and conditioners available on iHerb! These products are free from all the nasty ingredients that can wreck our hair and full of goodness from natural ingredients. This shampoo is very nourishing and has a light scent. I have long curly untreated normal hair with dry ends and this product works well for me. I shampoo my hair twice and then follow up with the conditioner from the same brand. I wash my hair 3 times per week and I often alternate this shampoo with other two (orange and blue) from Maui. I will buy more and highly recommend. If my review helps you please leave a thumbs up for me. Many thanks!😊

I love this product and have been using it for years. But I have recently picked this up through a Walmart pickup order. First upon using it I noticed the lids were different and didn’t think much of it. While using it I instantly smelled a really strong chemical smell, which never has happened to be these products smell amazing! I think the ones I have received, were fakes! So please pay attention to the packaging and smell it to make sure it doesn’t smell like chemicals!

It leaves my hair feeling clean and smooth. I enjoyed using it!The shampoo alone may have been fine for my hair, but so far, I have only used it WITH the accompanying conditioner, which I believe weighed my hair down a bit. I would still like to try the shampoo with another conditioning product, especially from the Maui Moisture line.This shampoo might be perfect for somebody with dry or severely damaged hair, especially if used in conjunction with the conditioner. I wouldn't buy this again for myself, though I WOULD try different Maui Moisture products to find the right line for me. I might recommend it to a friend with dry hair.
I used to absolutely love the shampoo and conditioner in this. I remember reading reviews about how the bottle shape makes it difficult to get the product out which I agreed with. However they seem to have recently changed the consistency of the product instead of the shape of the bottle. It used to be a thick creamy texture and now it’s so runny, it has the consistency of milk which just runs out everywhere and slides off your hair. I think they’ve done this to solve the issue with the bottle being difficult but now they’ve made it so runny that most the product runs down the drain. It’s just not the same…
This probably is better suited for people with straight, non textured hair. It’s a little bit heavy on coarse waves/curls. I have a water softener installed in the water system itself so I know for sure it’s the conditioner. It’s tough to separate curls or run your fingers through pieces even when your hair is still wet and flipped upside down in the shower. Tiny bit waxy, little heavy, little drier than usual.
Severely strips hair and dries it like its been chemically burned. my hair felt and styled like straw after each use. I would only recommend this product if the user has extremely oily hair. Also, the scent after use was borderline rank. I had to leave the fan on in the bathroom to move out the smell after showering. Aroma that comes from the bottle does not smell like that once applied.

The texture of the conditioner is good, and it spreads throughout my hair easily, smoothly. It does feel like it is conditioning my hair thoroughly, loosening any tangles or snags and coating each strand with protective ingredients. And it rinsed out very well. I enjoyed using it!Unfortunately, however, I didn't see any great results in my hair. There was nothing wrong with my hair, but I didn't notice any extra body or shine or manageability. (To be fair, my hair overall is pretty healthy.) If anything, it may have weighed my hair down a little bit. I think that I may have chosen the wrong products from Maui for my specific hair needs, though, so it may be perfect for YOUR hair, especially if you have dry hair with a lot of damage.I wouldn't buy this again for myself, though I WOULD try different Maui Moisture products to find the right line for me. I love all of the Maui Moisture products. I took a chance and started buying them after watching YouTube and the products were being recommended. I use different Maui Moisture shampoos and conditioners as needed and depending on how my hair is at the time of use (ie. I don't only use this product on it's own for a month at a time) and have noticed a big difference in my hair. Prior to using these products I was using other well known brands (not supermarket stuff) that I also still do like at times however Maui Moisture is currently my go to. Have been using for around 6 months.
I used this for 3 weeks just to get an honest opinion over time. My hair is long thick and wavy. I've noticed my hair is just falling out since using this product. It does not condition my hair at all. My hair feels like straw and has become brittle. It's snapping off due to the dryness which has only occured since using this product. It smells lovely and the shampoo is great however I will not be using this again. Now to re-grow my snapped hair back!!!
