Maxim Coffee & Spice Grinder

Pretty great spice grinder. It cuts through larger things easier than the smaller. I find the motor is so powerful it just blows the smaller up to the top in a vortex. Maybe a throttle?

Compact, does the job.

Small but definitely good if you are wanting an individual coffee grind.If you want to do more than 1 or two maybe look for bigger.Does not have preset settings so you have to know the grind you want.

Good grind

Does the job. Thought it would be quieter but you don't have the grinder on for long. Recommend for coffee beans. Good even grind

Great value

Easy to use, great value and simple design. I can grind my beans in about 30 secs and get it to a fairly fine powder. Prior to this I was using the Hario manual grinder which is a bur grinder and that works great and is easy to clean but takes ages and took its toll on my hands. As a mother of a newborn I don't have the time to do this any more! Also my arms and muscles ache all the time from carrying the baby so the electric grinder is a real lifesaver. There are other mo0re expensive ones on the market by well known brands but I feel like they do the same job for a lot more money.

ITS under scrutiny.

Sadly, there is more to dislike than like in my humble opinion. The lid/cap is loose yet it is supposed to be the carrier of crushed coffee beans from the grinder to wherever, I see great gaps for potential spillage, NOT a PLUS, sorryI am not used to Non retractable cords dangling all over the place on such items. Not a Plus.

It just works, OK ?

I bought this grinder to replace my similar but different brand grinder which was wearing out. I'm getting good results for grinding coffee beans. It's been busy all over Christmas, and no signs of fatigue. Use a pastry or paintbrush to clean the bowl. Avoid using water, keep the bowl dry. I use it purely for coffee. If you want to grind herbs, then I suggest you buy a second one. No regrets, it's a good product.

Not for espresso machines... Hard to clean.

It grinds, that's it. There is no way to control the granularity, you can try to grind longer, but it does not necessarily deliver better result. Tried it and the powder turned out to be too coarse for my espresso machine. If you just want a grinder for herbs/spices and you do not care much about granularity, it could a cheap solution. What concerned me more was cleaning. There is a gap in the cup and it is very hard to get the powders out of it. What's more, there is no cleaning tool provided...

Powerful little machine!

Bought it to grind coffee, however found myself needing it first to grind up some almonds, and worked beautifully. Second use the coffee beans and performed well, although I wish it held a greater capacity for beans. Still though, this is a little work horse and a welcome addition to my kitchen.

Rubbish, cheap

This item is terrible, the start action only starts grinding after much frustration pushing the lid down. It really doesn't grind well either. I'm returning it

Simple to use

I bought this a few weeks ago and it’s the best one I have used. It’s so quick and quieter than the others. It can grind other things too and you can see iit grinding and have it as fine as you want. I thoroughly recommend this product, it’s excellent, quick and so easy to use! Also is an excellent price.
