Bought this online a couple of weeks ago with my new coffee machine for Melbourneās lockdown 5/6.0. Delivery with Australia Post was hopeless took two weeks to arrive.Was worth the wait however, after using it for a couple of weeks i found it to be decent quality considering it was under $100. I expect to have it a couple years at min. Although the grind settings are fully automatic I was still able to get the perfect thickness with a bit of practice.Very good purchase ! Would recommend if your looking for something on the cheaper end.

I bought this model today at Good Guys in Moorabbin and was very pleased with my first go at grinding a 10-cup amount of beans, although I struggled mightily to get the plastic top off. I waited a bit and tried to grind another batch of beans. Nothing happened. I fiddled with the metal container and plastic top to make sure they were secure, but no go. This machine evidently needs redesigning. Have to take it back tomorrow. What a bore.

The grinder is great. For Dry Grinding and limited wet grinding. I have made chutneys and cashew, poppy paste and if you keep the liquid to a minimum, does a great job in the grinding.The deal breaker is the lid. You really need strong arms to open the lid. It is very tough and I have been sore after innumerable attempts to open the grinder. The lid just is so difficult to put on and then to take off the lid is even harder. I would not recommend and wouldnt buy this again, despite the good grinding.
The plastic top that locks over top of the grinding bowl is very tight to the point it hurts the wrists locking it in and unlocking it. I hate using it for the pain it causes in my wrists.I thought it was because it was new and needed some āwearing inā time, but a month later it hasnāt changed.It grinds coffee well and is moderately noisy. I will be returning this unit as I will most likely injure myself using it.
I got this as a gift to go with my new coffee machine and I am quite disappointed in it.The āfineā setting is not nearly fine enough to pull a decent shot with an espresso machine. No crema at all from the grounds used from this grinder. I switched to a pre grounded coffee and it was perfect.I would call this more of a blender than anything, could be okay for spices, but definitely not coffee.
This is the best spice grinder, I ever came across. There is a fine and coarse button. It works perfectly.1. never gets struct2. I grind my roasted spices or non roasted spices. works perfectly.3. Saftey feature. the cap has to be rotated tight before it works.Every user, after buying this product. please read the instrunctions, especially closing the cap tight for this grinder to work. excellent saftey feature, many might overlook this feature and get annoyed.
I bought this to grind coffee as per the name of the product. If you want your coffee turned to dust regardless of the settings you set the machine to then this is for you.If you actually expect the coarse setting to produce a coarse grind then steer clear of this.This might work well for spices, havenāt tried it for that but if itās advertised as a coffee grinder then it should work as one

Sadly the on/off button (possibly the motor itself) started doing its own thing when weād had it for about 18 months. It wouldnāt turn off except by taking off the lid or turning it off at the power point. The motor also seemed to be struggling to turn the blades. We stopped using it at that point. We are disappointed that our go-to brand for coffee making gear has not lived up to its usual high standards with this grinder. Iāve used this grinder only a few times so far. It works well with the coffee and the spices. Removable grinding container is very convenient for the cleaning and for the transportation grinded products as well. There are some suggestions to improve usability of this device:1 The side surface of the grind selector knob is smooth and glossy; as a result, it is quite slippery.It is hard to rotate, especially with arthritis fingers. I think, it could be ribbed or covered with some rubbery material for better grip. Alternatively, the shape of this knob may be changed from round to the pointed.2 The power cable is a bit short (0.6m). Another 0.5 m would be a good addition for more convenience.
