Meguiar's G4116 Natural Shine Protectant 473ml

WOW!!! . . . When this product says “restores color”, they aren’t kidding!!!!Purchased a 2nd-hand ‘03 Ford Explorer with SEVERELY faded/sun-damaged upper front door panels (front doors have NON-tinted windows)!!! Thought that the only solution would be to replace the panels, but decided to give this Meguire’s product a try. Because of the severity of the panels’ damage/color fade, I applied a heavy coat and did NOT wipe it off (left product on in its natural white color). Like MAGIC, the product began to be adsorbed into the panels and restore the original color!! After a couple of subsequent spot touch-ups over the course of a few days, the panels probably look BETTER than they originally did, because they now have a nice, soft, BEAUTIFUL luster . . . NO sign of ... MoreWOW!!! . . . FORGITABOUTIT!!!NO DOOR PANEL CAN BE MORE SUN-DAMAGED THAN MINE WERE . . . 17 years of sun exposure, bone dry, faded, BRITTLE-LOOKING - yet, this Meguire’s product restored them to better-than-new condition. Wish I had thought to take “before” pics so that I could post “befores” and “afters”.Trust me, if you use this product to restore faded panels, you’ll be singing its praises from the mountaintops!!!

Why, because this product does not do well in the rain. Totally, dissapates. Does not stay on vinyl. I have a ton vinyl trim on my subaru crosstrek and spent over an hour using product. After first rain, it was all gone. Waste of my time. Would not recommend for exterior. Great for interior though. Very disappointed as I use a ton of Maguiar's products. Same goes for the Natural protectant. This stuff is excellent. Have tried the Natural also. Only issue is the bottle. A detailer's must have

I purchased this product because it was recommended on a auto detailing video. Meguiar's Natural Shine Protectant will certainly bring back the original finish to black and grey colored plastic moldings, trim, dashboards, and panels. Best use is with detail brushes after deep cleaning the surface first. My 2011 Tahoe looks new again and without a greasy residue after applying the protectant. Also, I used it on my engine detail and it was equally impressive in restoring a new finish to the plastics and rubber. I am impressed!

Cleans, Restores, and Protects

The Meguiar's Natural Shine Protectant did a very nice job of restoring my dark vinyl dash. I made the mistake of spraying some Windex on the dash to clean a spot, and it damaged the surface of the vinyl. It was not a stain that could be washed off with soap and water, but rather a damaged area where some of the surface shine was removed. The Megular's Protectant did a great job of cleaning and restoring, and the damaged area is no longer visible. The dash shines nicely and looks more like new, in the 10-plus year old car. Of course, that inspired me to do all the doors and console as well! The product leaves a pretty strong, not nice odor that will probably last a bit. Hopefully the fixed area will remain looking good as well. Exterior and interior cleaning issues

I tried this Meguires Natural shine on my dashboard of my 2016 Honda HRV. I first sprayed it on my dashboard after using Mothers VRL spray. This left really bad white rings everywhere, I was looking for a slightly more matte look. This product did not work after using Mothers on it at all. I then tried it on my bumper that had some peeling, rough bumpy texture,looked like it had some peeling issues as well. I live in Arizona so it took a toll on the plastic bumper. I sprayed Meguires it on it, did nothing to restore the color, texture or reduce roughness. I then sprayed Mothers VRL cleaner conditioner all over the bumper it worked really well to restore color, cleaned it and regained nice texture, not completely but was 80% better. I do all 3 of our Cadillacs with this and it is no exaggeration when I say they haven't looked this good since they came off the lot. The cars all smell good too! Just use a cleaner first on any marks or dirty areas and then go over it with this stuff. A microfiber cloth gives excellent results. This stuff gives such a nice shine, even on any black trim. If you get it on any chrome trim like around your radio etc, just wipe it off with another dry cloth and there is no streaks or discoloration at all. I even used this on the black rubber weather strips all around each car and they look like new. The black trim around radios etc and black buttons all look great. Love the shine it gives. I do the cars the in between those details and spend about 6 hours per car because I am picky and go over every last detail, under the hood, trunk, all the weather strips, etc and since I have been using Meguiars products the cars look better than when they came from the dealer. I even used this one on the black leather in the black Cadillac and it gave an incredible look to it. I didn't even bother using the Rich Leather like I do in the other 2 Cadis. I used it by accident first on the black leather.. I had it on my hands and when I laid my hand on the leather console lid, it made a mark, so I wiped over it quick with the rag that I was using and then left it go while I did the rest of the interior to see what happened. It stayed shiny and superb looking, so I did a quick wipe over all of the seats. That car looks insanely good. Even on the black dash and all of the black plastic like on the bottom of the floor trim at the doors - it all looks brand new and shiny. Even on my tan interior Cadillac, the shine on the dash literally glares the sun off of it. I love this stuff and will never, ever, go back to Armor All ever again. The results with Meguiars last a lonnnng time and what I really like is that on black pieces, it doesn't get spotty, even on black metal or aluminum on the outside of the car (like the black piece that is between the top of the driver and rear windows).. it just refreshes it and makes it shiny and new. No spotting or weird discolorations. I use it on all the black rubber around windows, too, as well as under the hood on tube/wire casing, battery cover, etc. .. anything black, rubber, or plastic. it looks amazing. I use a lot of this stuff per vehicle and I can do 3 vehicles and not even empty the bottle, even with doing all the extra trim inside an out and under the hood. I can do each car a few times with one bottle.. so it goes a long way. The Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner is what you're really supposed to use on those weather strips and black pieces like mud flaps, etc, or any black plastic coverings, but I don't like that one as much because of the smell. With this Supreme Shine, I get the same results, even when the black pieces seem faded and dull, plus it smells good too. Using it along with the Rich Leather makes the car smell fantastic. I use the Rich Leather on the 2 cars with cashmere and camel leather and it does a great job of softening them.

Makes tires look like new

I got this to clean and shine the tires on my classic car. I am not a fan of the super shiney, wet look, and prefer the more brand new, natural look. The natural shine made the tires look like they were brand new. It was super easy to apply and made the tires look great.

Quick and easy

This is a quick way to clean and protect the finish after dusting. It lasts a long time and can be refreshed with a clean, wet micro fiber cloth. It may leave a slight smear on glass which may take some more rubbing with a dry cloth.

I’ve always found Meguiar’s products up to the task, and this protectant is no exception. I’ve used it for years on several vehicles. When we sold our Honda Odyssey in 2021 with 250,000 miles, the dashboard and door vinyl really looked as good as the day we bought it. And it was garage kept for only three years of that time, and was in the FL sun for about 3… The natural shine is just like the factory finish, I’m also terrible about regular cleaning, so at best I apply it twice a year.
