Starting off, the product isn't perfect. The complaints about not being rain durable are somewhat true, some say it becomes chalky and a mess to clean, I've noticed white spotting on some places where water would stand, which would come off in a regular wash.I've not found any issues with streaking across paint either, it's worth noting that I'm not using much (Google Chevrolet s10 for example of trim), but there's definitely a such thing as "too much product" similarly to tire shine, I've used a sponge to get everything covered and left it at that but if you're using a cloth that won't absorb any excess paste, you'll likely run into problems. I believe it also reccomends to buff after allowing to sit, if my memory serves me wrong it's definitely worth trying if you've already purchased the product and are having that issue.I think finally, durability is quite strong and lasts quite a long time and does a very nice job quenching previously black now dusty grey plastics, after using for quite some time over the span of a few months I've found water beading up on the plastics and rolling off as if waxed, something I hadn't done prior nor did I realize something plastic could do.This is definitely a good product to start with if you're trying to touch up some plastics around your car/truck, there are many others out there so if this doesn't do the trick, but I think you may find yourself satisfied.

This product is fantastic for bringing grey faded vinyl and plastics back to new rich black. Not oily and not super shiny.The product is easy to apply to cleaned plastic, vinyl on my jeep. Next is how long it stays like that.

I chose this product for two reasons. One, because I’ve come across Maguiars through work and they know their stuff, so hoped their product would reflect that… and if honest, more importantly because I’m fundamentally lazy and it looked the easiest to apply of the options. Good choice for both reasons. 1) The product lives up to the brand’s reputation and 2) it was easy peasy to use (wipe on and buff). The once grey and tired looking plastics on my Discovery 3 looked beauts, even my brother in law commented.
