I have the M-12 setup and use it where I work, the other tools I have are compact and powerful; interchangeability of the batteries are a great bonus! This Greese gun saves a lot of time and hassle, as much of my job is the servicing of commercial mowers. Many places one simply cannot get on the zerks with one hand then pump the gun. This solves that problem! The battery just keeps going and going....and if I need to finish up a job I simply change it out and pop the dead one in the charger... great system great line! Get it!

Awesome and Handy

I am a Landscape Contractor and Hobby Farmer. I have 2 skidloaders and 6 tractors not to mention numerous other pieces of equipment. This thing is a dream! Beats my Lincoln all to heck and last quite a while on just the 1.5 battery. Getting the free extended run battery wasn't too bad either.

Great gun, was worried it would not have the power to apply grease into fittings to where it needs to go, but in visible joints such as U-joint bearings I see the grease come through with every pulse. Handheld/powered are easier to judge in this regard but no worries your grease from this gun will get there.It's clean! usually with grease guns you end up with grease all over the handle or lever, but that's not the case if you simply wipe the nozzle after using then place it in it's grip holder. Other guns don't have a bracket or place to put the hose/nozzle and grease will drip. Eventually getting the gun itself and storage area coated in grease. Can't imagine any situation you could not reach a fitting with this gun.Ample power in battery, and there are light indicators displaying reserve power giving you warning before your battery dies. One small battery has lasted it's first tube of grease... so far anyways as I've not had to refill it yet. Reloading the canister is easy as well, like most grease guns.There are no cons to this product other than the price and I feel it's worth it.

I got mine about 2 weeks ago, Aug 2018. I own a Polaris Ranger, Kubota BX, and a boat that I grease. The front end loader of the Kubota has 12 grease fittings alone and has 15 hours on the engine. 2018 model. These items are expensive toys to me and I love taking care of them. You should buy this grease gun, easy to use, fast and get the Lock N Lube grease coupler ( 29.95 ) and the green lock n lube grease fittings little plastic caps. 50 for 6 bucks. and put in the case of the grease gun some Q Tips for cleaning around the grease fittings. I greased my Kubota in about 10 minutes and the green caps keep dirt out of the fittings. I am 100% happy about this purchase. I like it. I farm and have more than enough equipment that needs grease, and being able to hold the hose on the grease fitting with one hand and pull the trigger with the other is great. People have said that it doesn't work or stops working. You have to pump it till the air gets out of the line, and also make sure that the plunger is inside of the cartridge. I found that mine stop pumping grease after a couple of fittings. I pulled the plunger rod all the way back out to the catch, unscrewed the tube from the unit and slowly pushed the plunger into the cartridge, because the rubber gasket got hung up on the lip of the cartridge. Now it works fine.

Nothing unexpected or special.

Feet fell off before it was out of the bag. It had no sight glass for easy lubricant identification, there's no advancement in leakage from the tip, nor a drip retainer. The head is an average nothing special jaw. Just have come to expect the best and most advanced technology from Milwaukee. Seems like they just called it in on this tool. That being said, it's a nice bag...

Poor Quality.

Broke before I even loaded the first tube! Followed manual pulling back on the rod. Rod pulled out of the cylinder! JUNK!! I have several M12 tools that I like but this grease gun isn't one of them!

This is the second of these battery grease guns that I have purchased through CPO Reconditioned Tools. I have one at work (4 years now) and now one at home since we recently obtained a tractor. When you have 10 to 20 zerks to grease at a time this tool is a real time and hand saver. When I received this order, I could not get the gun to prime no matter what. I called CPO tools, explained what was going on and the service rep said, "Your replacement will be on the way today and I will e-mail you a return authorization and a return shipping label when I get off the phone." I received the e-mail as indicated and two days later the replacement was the front door. Loaded the grease, primed the gun and all is good!! Here is service that is old school and responsive.
