This is a great 1080p monitor. The edge is very thin and gives the monitor a nice clean look. I bought the first of this monitor in August of 2020, which has worked perfectly and has no dead pixels or other flaws. I liked it so much I bought an identical one in January of 2022. I have mounted them together on a single mount which looks great and gets them higher off the desk. I wish I could post a picture as I love the way the two 31" monitors look together. I highly recommend this monitor.

My husband has many vision problems and had a hard time with our 27 inch monitor. The type was usually blown up 140% and you had to scroll across the screen to see the whole page. Since I got the Asus monitor he no longer has to scroll across the screen and everything is larger. I would definitely recommend the monitor to anyone with vision problems. It also has additional settings to make the screen easier to read.

This ASUS 31.5 inch monitor is exceptional. One of the reviews I read simply said, I am perfectly pleased with my decision to purchase this monitor. I agree completely. The colors are true. And that is an understatement. When I print my photographed artwork prints, I set the color parameters on the printer according to the colors I have used in the original painting. However, the appearance on the screen is only as good as the calibration of the monitor. When I preview my prints on this ASUS monitor they are spot on. There is absolutely no color shift in the resulting print. Besides the screen is huge with a very narrow bezel. I purchased this monitor because I do a lot of editing images from Raw and the additional resolution I thought would be helpful. It absolutely is!! Added to that benefit is the fact that this thing is a monster! 32 screen literally dwarfs my previous 27! Yes, it does high speed charging, and has other features too, but in truth, all that matters to me are the screen quality and size, and just in terms of those 2 factors, this is one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. You will have to do some basic things to get rolling. First, turn off VividPixel. Will make contrast look weird, especially around text. Second I changed my default mode to Scenery mode as it had better black representation (and also less bright, these new monitors are crazy bright.) I connected my HDMI-to-HDMI cable, full res came up at 2560x1440. Connected the Pearstone HDMI-to-DVI cable (bought here for like 8 bucks), and boom, 2560x1440. No worries about active or passive, single link vs dual link, it just worked. These monitors are very light, and if you wiggle your desk, yes they will wobble a little, but not during typing or gameplay (I'm an FPS guy) so nothing of note during general use. No ghosting at all during COD3 or Deus Ex Making Divided, hovered at 60FPS the whole time. Only negative (not enough to remove a star) is that there is no native DVI connector. Only HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA. Since my cables just worked I don't feel like this is a detractor for me. Coming from my 8 year old Samsung P2770H monitors, these things feel huge! Love the brightness, extra real estate, and matte screen finish! No glare from any angle. For the money, these are pretty amazing. Very lightweight as well.
The controls for the monitor are a joy stick based switch on the back of the unit. Simple things like turning off the monitor, changing any of the settings are not simple. If, and that's a big IF, you just happen to stumble on the desired setting, making actual adjustments is also problematic. Monitor controls are basic functions that nearly every other manufacturer has already solved, this is not a useful innovation.I can't recommend the monitor for this reason: Apparently they spent most of their design efforts on the joystick control, not usability or functionality. The display portion of it is average for this price point.Note to Asus: Buttons would have been an appropriate design choice for monitor controls.
We just got this monitor, and it is very nice with it's huge size and nice 2560 x 1440 resolution. The stand is sturdy and can tilt. The integrated speakers are great for most casual use (much better than the 1 watt speakers that came with our old monitor). I would move it to 5 if the usb receptical can be used to communicate with the computer in addition to just charge. Overall we are very happy with the monitor.
I am very pleased with the monitor. Rich color. Extremely good brightness, adjustable for various environment needs. I like the size, as I can keep several windows open simultaneously. I have had zero difficulties using the joystick adjustments controller--very intuitive and easy to use. Monitor's internal speakers are weak, but can be supplemented with external speakers. Solid stand. Overall, I would highly recommend this monitor.
