Excellent monitor. I gave it four stars due to the cable ports being the type that require you to push up instead of being back to front. It's almost impossible to see where to plug in the connectors. A suggestion would be to lay the monitor on a flat surface to connect the cables instead of upright on the stand. There is a switch on the back of the monitor next to the power button that pushes in and also up, down, and side to side for setting up the monitor. This monitor came with the resolution pre-set at 1280x1024 which creates a one inch black border on the right and left margins. The borders can be removed by changing the resolution setting to 1920x1080 so that it will show the full screen.

Great features on Dell P-series monitors - height adjustable, portrait/landscape orientation, four port USB hub. Excellent picture on frame less display. Menu adjustment is a little hard to figure out hour to use. I am a retired PC tech for a state IT department; some agencies had 10-12 year old Dell monitors still going strong.B&H had the best price i found and the 2 day free shipping was delivered on time.

I bought these to replace aging monitors in our office. The near-frameless design and almost zero bezel, makes them a good fit on our desks especially where we have triples installed. The nice variety of connection options makes adding them to docks a breeze. Great Dell quality (so far). Tilt, swivel and height adjustment is very much appreciated. 1920 x 1080 display size keeps things at reasonable size for my older users with failing eysight.

Great monitor but instructions are terrible. If using with a laptop you MUST have a display port on your laptop, otherwise you need to buy a display port /hdmi converter! This is not mentioned anywhere! Also, toSet it up, you must use the toggle on the back near power button. Again not mentioned anywhere. So days of frustration in setting up that could have been avoided if documentation and instructions were complete!

I'm expecting 5+ years of reliable service like I usually have from other business grade Dell products.
I will say that I have been purchasing primarily the P-class monitors from Dell for a very long time! They come with a great 3 year advanced exchange warranty...BUT..I have only ever had to use that twice. Out of hundreds of monitors, only two failure within the first three years is great! We have many monitors that have been in use for 10+ years. Sure you can find the similar size monitors for much cheaper, but I found you do get what you pay for. And with most companies, exchanging them is a hassle, with Dell they send you a new one the next day!
Monitor is high price and no speakers in built . With low price than this ...speakers valuable on Dell s2425hs good than this . For office and study purpose screen resolution should be 1920x1200 is good. but this is 1920x1080 not good ..width is nearly as laptop width ...so not good.

Very nice monitor! The screen fills the narrow frame making it seem even bigger and the picture is sharp and clear right out of the box! We recently moved and my previous monitor was damaged when I unpacked it. I called Dell and the rep suggested this one to connect to my laptop and I am very happy with the purchase. The only negative I have is the set up instructions that came with it from Dell -The 1 sheet of paper with a few pictures and very tiny writing was not very helpful. Dell needs to remember some of their customers are well into retirement age. LOL!
