A beastly card for a beastly price. The design looks really good and the build quality is excellent. The card is extra large though, make sure the dimensions fit your case! It's GPU boost clock is at 1860 MHz and it comes with dual bios: quite and gaming mode, which seem to affect how aggressive the fan curves are set. Although I'm unable to see any major performance difference on either settings. GPU temps hit ~70 °C under load on "gaming" setting, with an average 3DMark score of ~20500 without any tweaks. From a value point of view; the 3090s has never been considered "good value". A limiting factor is availability – most other modern GPUs are impossible to find, even the 3090 is hardly in stock. And it’s even harder to find any at MSRP.Overall, I’m happy with ... MoreA beastly card for a beastly price. The design looks really good and the build quality is excellent. However if availability wasn’t an issue – I would have probably got a 3080 or 6800/6800 XT.

This thing is an absolute beast. Gaming on a Samsung Q95T 55" TV at 4K is pretty amazing. So far it's coped with everything I've thrown at it at max settings. It also manages to keep pretty cool and relatively quiet which is a nice bonus. It is of course a complete rip off although that's not CCL's fault and they are seemingly one of the few retailers not massively increasing their price. Delivery was on time.If you have more money than sense and can actually get your hands on one of these then I'd highly recommend it.

I have always had really good experiences with MSI products. I decided to treat myself with their top of the line offering, and wow, what a monster GPU! Steamrolls over everything as expected, and it's got that little bit of extra clutch over a non-Ti. The outer packaging was pretty neat and felt premium. The package contents were pretty standard; however, it does include a nice sag bracket for holding up your card and a decent mousepad. And of course the 3xPCIe-->12pin power adapter is included. On its gaming BIOS mode it is about as loud as my 3090FE was during loads. I haven't tried the silent mode yet, but I'm sure it's much lower noise, given the fan design. I'm very happy with the card.

This card is a BEAST. The 24GB will be overkill for over 90% of people, but since when does that stop anyone?I use this card primarily for gaming and it runs a buttery smooth 144Hz (2560x1080) of most modern games. The design is clean and looks better than most of the other 3080/3090 cards. This card is HUGE so make sure you check your case dimensions. I had to remove my PSU shroud and this card still pushes on the pci-e power cable from the PSU in a vetical mount.Otherwise I have nothing but great things to say about this 3090!!! Best of luck with acquiring one!
3090's are great cards, just don't buy MSI. I have EVGA and Founders Edition 3090's which cost less and still work. While the MSI card is under warranty the expected turn around time is 6 to 8 weeks. MSI does not even offer expedited return shipping even if you offer to pay. I understand there is a chip shortage but not even offering an option to expedite shipping is unacceptable. Especially for those who need these cards for business purposes. EVGA even gives you the option to get a replacement card overnighted prior to shipping back a bad card for a small fee. Very disappointed in MSI and I do not recommend ordering any of their products.
Did not come with a free bundled game unlike all of the other MSI 3090s being sold by newegg. I honestly thought I was buying the Suprim X because I had never seen this non-x version on newegg but I guess it was posted the same day that I bought it so I should have read more carefully. All in all the performance difference and overclocking headroom isn't going to be that different, though leaving 20w on the table is still leaving 20w on the table. It's still a high end AIB 3090 and performs like it should and just has shockingly good thermals. I'd only suggest buying this if you really love the looks, need the... suprim... cooling, and/or money is noobject to you. Price performance wise you are going to be better off with an FE or other less premium model. Price performance wise you are going to be better off with an FE or other less premium model. MSI, like other AIBs, increased prices due to tariff changes. Newegg then decided due to supply vs demand that they could get away with adding another significant premium on top of that. Then MSI seems to have increased the prices even more recently. Overall I can't recommend this specific model, too many caveats. It's not the best of the best, it's got price hikes from many different sources down the supply chain that have put it hundreds above most of its equivalents from other AIBs.
I bought this card over other 3090 ti cards because I had great experience with my 3090 Suprim X and thought this would be the best AIB 3090ti out there. However, as soon as I played my first game with the card, I heard the worst coil whine I have ever head from a GPU. It was even worse than FE cards that known for this issue. Sadly had to return the card due to this and some image flickering issues. Not sure if coil whine was a defect for the unit I received or it is more systematic. I even changed my PSU and got top of the line titanium PSU but that didn't help with this GPU coil whine.
It's extremely hard to type into words the experience that you have when using a graphics card with this sort of power - But I'll certainly try!I was quite used to having to mess with quality settings for gaming or rendering on my previous 2070 Black 8GB Gaming GPU.. That is now an irrelevant task with this GPU - I've simply turned any game that I've played (Tarkov, Warzone, Division 2, BFV, Forza 4) to ultra/extreme graphics settings. I've been able to happily run the mentioned games at 120fps+ using a ROG Swift PG278QE165Hz monitor (G-SYNC on) without issue. With Control and Cyberpunk, without RTX, both games are north of 100fps respectively. This does diminish to around 75fps for both, but I can honestly say that I've never seen anything as clear and as... ... MoreIt's extremely hard to type into words the experience that you have when using a graphics card with this sort of power - But I'll certainly try!I was quite used to having to mess with quality settings for gaming or rendering on my previous 2070 Black 8GB Gaming GPU.. This does diminish to around 75fps for both, but I can honestly say that I've never seen anything as clear and as... Dare I say... as perfect as this? I fully believe that my monitor is holding back even more unlocked potential but there is no denying the power of Ray Tracing - I spend half my time looking at myself in the reflections of passing cars and random windows, it has added an entire new layer to my gaming experience.I was worried about the weight of the card even though the GPU comes with it's own stand, so I purchased a Cooler Master GPU stand (LN100814) - fortunately the RGB for this along with the GPU is easily set through the MSI 'Dragon Center', giving you plenty of customization choices for colours. (pictures added)Oh... I forgot to mention, the card has been running above 1950Mhz whilst gaming - OUT THE BOX!!!I have yet to cusp 80 degrees on the unit and this was with both gaming and 3D rendering done within 3DS Max. If you have the money, then have a little bit more on top of that.. Folks - if you can afford it, just buy it. Then, immediately flip to the gaming BIOS switch when you get it out of the box. The "quiet" switch is severely limiting, and, in gaming mode, it's not any louder but my tests took FPS from 52 to 90. This card is simply the best on the market right now. That's that. It overclocks effortlessly +4000mhz, without drawing more power, which is awesome. It is absolutely silent for everyday use, and under heavy gaming load it's MUCH quieter than my AMD 5700XT for example. I don't know what else to say - it's enormous, so make sure you measure. I had to move fans. It's also HEAVY... like, 20lbs, built like a tank, literally. nVidia's software is as good or better than AMD's. Games no longer wait on the GPU, which is crazy as I'm running a 5ghz i9. This card is a paradigm shift, a game changer. For sake of an unconventional comparison, I'm also a cryptocurrency miner. My AMD 580's will hash about 30mh/sec. My 5700XT did 58mhs. This card does 120mhs. It's literally orders of magnitude faster, yet runs cool, effortless. Oh, keep i mind, this card requires 3 (THREE) power connectors and can draw 400+ watts in my experience. A 750w PSU is probably cutting it close if you have a big CPU. I'm on a 1000watt Corsair. Oh also, this drives my 5120x1440 Odyssey effortlessly - the 5700xt was quirky. This also has extremely high definition sound capability built in over the HDMI output. I mean look folks, this costs as much as a used car, so, you get what you pay for.
Well, I finally got a new case as my old one would not hold this beast. The card was well packed and padded, and was exactly as described. I'm very happy with the entire purchase experience. Changed nothing about my computer except the case.graphics cards. Replaced two 3060s with a single 3090. Test image renders twice as fast now, and has twice as much memory so I can create larger, more complex scenes.
