The Muc-Off Ceramic Bike Lubricant is one of their premium lubricants, apart from the Sky version, which is much higher priced.I would suggest that the product is ordered online and paid for and collected in store, as the online price is cheaper than going to the store and paying for it off the shelf. Ordering online and going to the store to collect and pay can be done within one hour and it's a simple process.THE LUBRICANT IS EASY TO APPLY - I just put a drop of oil on each link and slowly rotate the chain to the next section that requires a drop on each link. My experience with this lube is that if it's applied correctly, it's awesome. My drive chain has been running silently and smoothly since I started using it. That said, application is finicky and to get anything out of it, you need to follow the instructions to the letter. If you expect to use this stuff 5 minutes before heading out on a dusty 50 mile ride, you are going to be seriously disappointed as it tends to turn into a oily sticky mess.As per the bottle:1. Clean your chain! Really, it should be completely and thoroughly degreased. This stuff dosen't want to stick to any part that is covered in grease, dirt or oil.2. After cleaning, let your chain dry completely. The instructions say to wait at least 3-4 hours, but in my experience it's best to let it sit overnight.4. Use the UV Light. It works, and you can see links that clearly don't have lube in the rollers. You can also see if the lube is beading up and not sticking to the metal.

I think I've tried every major chain lube on the market and I have finally found one I'm sticking with for my climate and riding conditions. I've used the C3 on a brand new Campy R11 chain and a well broken in Dura Ace chain and both preform flawlessly. The new Campy chain has stayed almost completely clean and on the second application on my Dura Ace chain it is now staying MUCH cleaner than any other lube I've tried. On top of staying clean, the real proof is in the performance. The chains are quiet, smooooooth and shifting is flawless. I've also tried the TEAM SKY version and have had great luck with it as well. All in all, fantastic chain lube for me living in Southern California and our dry road conditions.

I live in California's Central Coast. Chains turn black and gritty very quickly. Before applying Muc-Off, I cleaned the chain in an ultrasonic cleaner with Simple Green and water, then rinsed with acetone. After a few rides, I wiped the chain and applied lube again. After 90 miles of riding the chain had a build-up of dry, black residue. While I had hoped the chain would stay cleaner longer, I have had other brands of "dry" lubes get as dirty in 20 miles. Riding was a combination of gravel and asphalt.
This is way better than Finish Line Dry Lube. My chain absolutely purrs with this on. You want to make certain that you get all the extra lube off or it will still attract trail dirt. I am sold on Muc-Off and will be recommending this for sure. Also, I like that the small cap on the applicator screws on. I put this in my frame bag (inside a zipped plastic bag) and had no issues with any leaking.
I couldn't be more impressed with this lube. Compared to other lubes I've used in the past, this lasts at least a few rides (in dry conditions). If you apply it at least an hour before a ride (3-4 hours is recommended) it will penetrate perfectly and have you pedaling with a silent drivetrain. And if you follow the instructions, it really doesn't attract dirt/dust much. A quick wipe down with an all purpose cleaner every few rides and re-applying and you'll be able to go weeks or months without having to deep clean your drivetrain.Super impressed and will continue buying and using this lube for mountain and road riding.
This is my first MucOff product ever, bought wet version since I have read that dry oils only use thinner that evaporate with almost same oils, so wet versions last longer. Used it only on a dirty chan and a few drops held for 200km for me. Recommend!
So far, this lube has been great. It really excels at not attracting grit. Also, I don’t seem to need to use it as much as lubes I’ve used before. There are two minor downsides. First, it can build up on pulley wheels if you don’t whip the chain on a somewhat regular basis. Second, they supply a gimmicky UV light to see how the lube is applied, but it is not necessary (you can easily see it as you apply it) and it becomes just more electronics junk in the landfill. I’ve contacted Muc-Off to see if you can get the lube without the light, and they said no, which is unfortunate.
Got this over a month ago and since it was sale I got another one for spare. If you expect to gain watts like from the Silca or Absolut black this is not the product for you. Is hard to quantify the actual quality and drive train efficiency but I don't hear any noise from the drivetrain so it's a good start for that price making it one of the cheapest.
Ive been using ceramic muc off for 3 years plus now. Great product and reall makes a difference. Smoith and quiet chain movement and gear changing. Clsan chain and re apply frequently, not liberally. I drip the oil on to each and every roller rather than the spin the pedals backwards and hold the point of the dispenser on top of the chain.
