This is the only source of DHA/EPA that I tolerate. I can't do fish oils and I do very well with the phospholipid form that krill oil contains, but most formulas contain soy, limonene or other citrus products that I also have to avoid. Lucky Vitamin has the best price on this product that I have found. I experimented with dosage and found that the "sweet spot" for my body was 5 capsules a day at breakfast. I also take Ubiquinol and Black Currant Seed Oil with it and they appear to act synergistically. My mind is super sharp now and I can really tell the difference in many ways, including lower inflammation levels generally. Highly recommend!

Excellent!

Completely dissatisfied and upset with change in formula. I started taking Nature's Way Efa Gold Krill Oil in 2012 after much research. I loved the 1st bottle so much, I started buying them 2 at a time. I opened a new bottle last week and was immediately put off by the fishy smell, it was so strong. Then I noticed the change in color and softness of the capsule. I compared labels and saw the difference of ingredients. Quality has gone down, price has gone up. Will be researching a new product and making the change by months end. Will remember in the future to check labels before assuming product contents are the same as previous lots.

Krill Oil
16 August 2023

Krill oil is promoted as an alternative to traditional fish oil supplements because it is claimed to have certain advantages, such as better absorption and reduced fishy aftertaste. However, scientific research on the specific benefits of krill oil compared to other sources of omega-3s, such as fish oil, is ongoing and the evidence is mixed.

Krill Oil is Healthy!
19 July 2023

Krill Oil is one of the choices of products containing Omega 3 essential fatty acids which are a part of a healthy diet. Omega 3s are helpful in fighting against inflammation, such as in arthritis or inflammatory bowel disease, and aids in many physiological processes. It has helped me! I highly recommend this product!

No fish oil after taste
24 December 2020

I was so tired of the fish after taste of Omega-3 fish oil supplements. This supplement is a great alternative to fish oil and does not cause the horrible fish oil after taste. Krill oil is an excellent source of healthy fats. The omega-3 fats in krill oil seems to be easier to absorb than those in fish. Studies have found that krill oil, like other sources of omega-3 fats, may be effective at improving blood lipid levels and other risk factors for heart disease.

So far, so good
16 June 2016

I haven't been using this krill oil for long, but so far I'm not having any issues with it. I take two softgels in the morning with breakfast and I'm not experiencing any burping, which is a good sign. The one negative thing I will say about this product is that it has a strong fishy odor, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Even with the cap closed, I can smell it when I open the cabinet I keep it in. And the smell intensifies when you open the bottle to get out the softgels. Before I ordered this product I noticed other reviewers commenting on this same thing, so it was no surprise when I experienced this as well. But other than the smell, I think these are of good quality and they seem to be working fine for me.

The ONLY KRILL OIL TO TAKE
6 March 2014

Although there's plenty of Krill Oils In the marketThese days. Nothing is more effective then the Neptune's Nature's Way EfaGold These are selectively chosen from the deepest oceans depthOf the Antarctica region. Making them more pureAnd unlike Fish Oil (Mercury Free, regurgitation free) simply the BEST. For improved circulation, heart health and a host of other benefits that i can't remember right now. I always make sure I select this particular brand over any other. It is worth it's price in Gold. I've been buying it for over four years I feel an overall beneficial body health and well being that is unparalleled to anything else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.
