I've appreciated these spirulina capsules as part of my overall health regimen. I actually did try taking loose spirulina powder in my smoothes and wow - it gets everywhere, turns everything deep green, and is generally much harder to use. So back to the capsules I go. Definitely better in capsule form to get this good 'green food' addition to your dietary intake.

I decided to try spirulina because It has a different nutritional profile than chlorella and I wanted to try to increase detoxification. I also read that spirulina can help with stem cell generation. We just started this as a family so it's only been a few days so far I think I have seen some little improvements.

It has a little particular smell, but at the end of the bottle, I didn't really mind it because I am used to it. Package is nice, as Nature's Way always has good ones. The pill was not humongous that sometimes the size of a pill really bothers me to keep up with taking supplements. Overall, it is a good product to try out.
