This machine works great, easy to store, and if you have to travel with it.. no problem has it own travel bag. You unscrew the blue container, add saline, add distilled water, screw it back in and then push the button with your head tilted over sink, make sure to open your mouth. And watch the gunk come out. Got COVID and had sinus blockage, I sinugate. Cute container too. There is a plastic tube that looks like a straw that attaches to the bottom of the white part and goes into the blue water reserve, I don’t use that cause I cannot get the machine to pump water when I hold it sideways.

Easy to use instruction. Works wonderfully. My only quirk is that the reservoir for the water could be larger. It sometime takes two or three times to use it to get the best results and you have to keep filling it up. If the reservoir were larger it would make it even better.

Did not work 3 mos! Very disappointed.

I purchased this nasal wash to help my husband’s allergies, and we were pleased NOT to pay the cost of the “other”, “same use”, well known product. I took a chance with this “pulsating” NeilMed product, and was disappointed. Although we’ve purchased a “manual” nasal wash, I am hoping to get another one that pulsates. Was my purchase a rare defect issue, or can I consider NeilMed again? What is the warranty???

I cannot live without this! It is the easiest machine on the market in my opinion, it’s easy to use and to clean. Just make sure you don’t use sink water. Boil the water before putting it up your nose.I like the packets that are provided it’s clean and beneficial. You feel a difference and that you can breathe better.

Ineffective Product that was Basically Useless
23 April 2023

The idea for this machine sounds great; the execution of the idea in this product is seriously defective. It's hard to believe all the glowing reviews are legit when my experience was just the opposite. My biggest complaint is that the "stronger pulsing" button switch did NOT make the water move more strongly until ONLY 1/2" of water remained in the 8 oz. water reservoir--basically when I was done. And that pressure of water flow was all that felt effective. There was also a "lock/unlock" "switch" that had to be slid to the unlock position in order to get to the battery compartment. It took a screw driver to shove/move the slide bar it was so stiff. I also do not feel that the three AA batteries were strong enough to make the unit operate properly. I know that I can ... MoreThe idea for this machine sounds great; the execution of the idea in this product is seriously defective. I know that I can do much better with just a bottle of solution where I just squeeze it myself to get water moving as strongly as this product was supposed to go. Instead of this product, I would suggest that you do the same. You'll get a better result and you'll save money too.

Neti pot on steroids
24 May 2019

When they say this is a neti pot on steroids, theyre out kidding. The fluid container is about 1/2 as big as a neti pot, but even so, the water is sucked up through the sinugator in a matter of seconds. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it is extremely thorough. The only thing neti pot users may not like is that you cant do step 2 that you do with the neti pot, ie, catching the solution in your throat and spitting it out. But I am well pleased with this, having had sinus problems for a lifetime. Within a matter of 24 hours, a lifetime of those problems totally disappeared. Edit: Ive had the sinugator for a few weeks now. It worked great for the first week, and then stopped working. Edit: Ive had the sinugator for a few weeks now. It worked great for the first week, and then stopped working. I found that this was somewhat common, as well as found a fix for this. Apparently water gets inside the body of the pump and begins to corrode the metal switch. My first fix was taking the pump apart and cleaning the switch with fine sandpaper. It worked for a day, and then stopped again. Ive had to do this three times, and I think (hope) I might have it nailed...my first suggestion - when using the sinugator, the button that you press to start it should be up, facing away from the ground. This way, water is less likely to dribble in to it. Ive also repaired the seals between the pump and plastic water container - the seals stretch out and no longer keep the water out of the machine. I will say that when the pump works, its great. Its poorly designed, however, and may need a bit of creativity to get it working dependably.

Not as good as I hoped!

Ive suffered with sinus on/off for 40 years. Just lately I wake up with a stuffy head & nose. I feel completely blocked up & have to use Olbas Oil to clear my nose in the morning. Having read great reviews for this product decided to buy it. At 30 its value fir money but I wish I had paid the difference for the more expensive machine which actually collects the water rather than it pouring from your nostril which is so messy. For me its uncomfortable to use, bit like being duncked under water. Maybe I just havent mastered it yet. For me it does burn a little because of the salt & trickle a lot down my throat. I have to keep stopping because of this so Im not allowing it to perform the full duration. Im going to keep at it as it apparently comes highly recommended by doctors so others say. Im also a little disappointed as it states to replace after 3 months which Im not happy about having to pay 30 every 3 months.

Surprised and Delighted with this product
21 May 2021

I bought this from CVS two years ago and never used it. After moving to the south, I had no choice. I am so glad I took the plunge. It’s easy to assemble, caused no drip and I felt the positive effects immediately. The odor went away, I was able to blow my nose instead of having the nasal drip and my head was not throbbing. I was able to do this over my sink easily and as long as I tilted my head the solution really does come out through the other nostril. The solution was the perfect formula and I did not have any after effects like a dry or itchy throat. Had I known I would have the results I experienced I would have started sooner. Definitely a plus for me!

I bought this for a replacement of one I already had. I dropped the machine and broke the water container. This is a very nice machine and I was very glad to get it it’s such a good price. They’re getting rid of this nice one to bring it a more modern one. I had to rush and buy this because I don’t think I will like them more modern one. This one works just fine for me. Good price for me.
