A better Metcon has arrived!
My all-time favorite Nike shoe has been the Nike Free runs, in particular the 2018 version. Since it’s no longer made, I have been on the hunt to find a comparable shoe to the one I’ve loved for so long. One of the employees at the Nike store suggested I should to try the Metcon 5, and I loved them. However, the Metcon 6 are an even better shoe! This version is a lot more comfortable then it’s predecessor. This version does not have that rubbery/wax lining right between the platform and the laces, making the shoe more flexible. It also has the little strap on the heel that allows you to put your finger through it to pull the shoe in when you are putting them on. These are small little details, but noticeable enough to make the shoe much better. I wear these shoes ... Basically, these are my lifestyle shoes! Highly recommend!... Show more

Dissapointing, not at all like the Metcom 5
I bought (2) pair of the Nike Metcom 5 women's shoe last year, and just bought a pair of the Metcom 6. The Metcom 5 is a much better fit. The Metcom 6 women's shoe is totally different, and it sags in the arch, and the toe is narrower, so my big toe hits. Online in the pics it looks like the Metcom 5, but when you get it, the shoe is very different. The sagging in the arch is just awful. Definitely rebuilt for a wide foot. Why mess with something that works? I bought the pink pair this year, and it isn't even cute. Sadly, these shoes will be going back.... Show more

Metcon free 6
I have been wearing the Metcon Free 6 workout shoes for the last 2 weeks. I have worn them casually, for outings around town as well as for work. I have also worn them for my daily workout routines and my short evening runs. I have had a previous ankle injury that required surgery to correct, so comfort and support are imperative for me when it comes to choosing shoes. I genuinely like that the design is similar to the previous Metcon 5’s, just with a bit more fabric. I have found that, for myself, the material is actually quite breathable. I’m not saying I have sweaty feel, but they’re definitely staying dry. I have also stepped in a puddle, resulting in them getting wet and was very pleased with how quickly they dried. Making the Metcon Free 6, in my opinion exceptionally more comfortable while also providing the support of require. An example of one of the features I love is the improved sole, its soft without being too soft white still offering hardy support making my work outs and runs more comfortable and enjoyable. Let me also add that there is one feature I would love to see improved, the new shoelace loops have me questioning their durability. They seem really frail and flimsy and I feel like with the slightest bit of resistance that they will rip. In conclusion, I really like these shoes, and I would recommend them to my fellow training community... Show more

The durability of the shoes is impressive, with no signs of fraying or wear despite rigorous use. What I appreciate most is the versatility of these shoes. Whether lifting, running, or performing box jumps, they adapt seamlessly to any activity. The reinforced sides for rope climbs are a particularly thoughtful addition. The shoes feel very sturdy, and the grip is excellent, allowing me to lift heavier weights right out of the box.The fit of the Metcons is also noteworthy. They run true to size and feature a wider toe box compared to previous versions, which is a welcome improvement for those with wider feet. However, the initial stiffness might take some getting used to, but I was able to perform lunges with ease after a short period. One aspect worth mentioning is the minimal arch support, which might create a flat-footed sensation, especially during walking or running. This can make the shoes feel slightly clumsy for these activities. Additionally, while the wider toe box is beneficial for stability, it can make the shoes appear bulkier than expected. If I were to suggest an improvement, it would be a bit more cushioning in the front for longer runs. However, for my gym needs, these shoes are nearly perfect. In conclusion, these shoes have significantly enhanced my gym experience. They have become my reliable workout companions, and I foresee this continuing well into the future.... Show more

Nike Does It Again!
I’ve been a fan of Metcon and Free Metcon over the years and have had multiple pairs. These are now my personal favorite from the Free Metcon line! They are incredibly comfortable and versatile whether I’m jumping rope, doing some deadlifts or going for a sprint. They’re true to size (I have a bit of a wider foot) with enough toe space for lifting. I love the breathable mesh material and the flexibility for sudden movements. I prefer the design on this shoe versus the past ones. I’ll definitely be getting these in other colors!... Show more

Nike Free Metcon 6
I found my new workout shoes. The fit and feel of the Nike Free Metcon 6 is perfect. I have worn them on stair workouts, treadmill, outdoor walk/runs, and CrossFit. They are fully capable of handling anything you throw at them. They are lightweight and extremely supportive. I found the heel and ankle support to be very sturdy. Simultaneously, the toe end of the shoe offers a lot of flexibility and freedom of movement. Overall, these shoes offer an incredible foundation for any activity. Aesthetically, they are great looking and the materials are fantastic. They don’t show creasing in the toe so you can easily go from a gym workout to running errands with ease. The versatility of these shoes are second to none. I would offer recommendations for improvement, if there ... MoreI found my new workout shoes. The fit and feel of the Nike Free Metcon 6 is perfect. NO PAIN
These shoes are comfortable. I initially thought they would start hurting quickly because they were a bit stiff. I wore them all day and didn’t have to switch them out. They are lightweight and stable. I wore them to workout and I had good balance during my routine. They have quickly become a daily wear for me. I typically need to change my shoes after long wear, but these I feel fine. I also think the design of the shoe is interesting and intriguing. I would recommend buying these.... Show more

Women's Nike Free Metcon 6 shoes
These shoes feel and fit comfortably. I have plenty of room in the toe box area and they have a cushiony sock-like feel. I think the design was basic on this pair of metcons compared to the 5’s and 3’s. I was expecting more details and branding. They are kind of plain. The fabric was cool and breathable. I like how the fabric is stretchy which makes it more flexible for every move I make whether it’s running, squatting, or jump roping. I like how these shoes provide comfortable cushions and stability while squatting with weights. I like how I can wear these shoes for hours without my feet being tired or hurting. The only thing I would change is the design. I would add a little more details so that it’s not too plain but I would still recommend, they are good shoes.... Show more
