Excited by other reviews claiming this Ninja decimates seeds in fruits, but that's not my experience. Even after running the presets multiple times, the Ninja is no match for blackberry or raspberry seeds, which simply gather in a pile at the bottom of the cup. Further, the blender cups leak no matter how tightly I secure them before blending. Full-size blender is well constructed and the system does a great job crushing ice, so that's a plus over other units. Presets are a nice feature, too. Overall, good but not great.

This is my second Ninja. There really isn't any substitute for this blade when making peanut butter or blending things down to a liquid. I didn't buy one with all of the attachments this time because I never used them. They changed the design and the old attachments don't work with it anyway but I expected that since my old one was pretty old. I've never liked that finding replacement parts is pretty tough for these but, as it turned out, I never needed any. With this one, I purchased the insurance, just in case something does happen and I need a part. These seem to be reasonably priced now, so I'm not too concerned. When I purchased my first one, they were definitely a luxury item.I do have a regular blender too but I always turn to the Ninja...it's just a heavy ... MoreThis is my second Ninja. When I purchased my first one, they were definitely a luxury item.I do have a regular blender too but I always turn to the Ninja...it's just a heavy duty powerhouse blender and, even if it takes a little time, it gets the job done without the lumps that my regular blender floats forever. I do have to work some things down with this one too. It isn't effortless but I get better results and rarely end up with hidden lumps. Sometimes, I just turn it on and work on something else and it works out most of its problems on its own. This model has automatic pause durations in the preprogrammed blender settings, something that my old one didn't have. It allows everything to settle between blends so you don't have a choice of over blending or having to push things down every few seconds. It definitely helps with some things but some things, you just have to manually push them down.Cleanup on this blender is about the same as any blender. You do want to get under the blade to get it cleaned out good, so a little soapy water blended in it does most of your work but the blade just sits in it and you have to pull the blade out and actually rinse out the indent. The lid has lots of little crevices too. But I rinse mine as soon as I pour out the contents and haven't ever had any trouble cleaning it. My old blender looked brand new when I tossed it out. It cleans up well and doesn't discolor even though its all plastic.

OMG. I had a blender before I bought this one and I hated it. I've hated it for years, but I was too cheap to buy a new one. Finally, one day I just couldn't take it anymore and I broke down and bought this one. I was so stupid to wait - I love this thing.Smoothies are so much faster and easier now. No more chunks left over, no more standing at the machine holding the button down and waiting. Plus I can just take the container and go to work without leaving a big mess. I haven't made anything else with it yet, but both my wife and I make a smoothie every day so if that's all that ever gets made with it, it was worth the cost.

I bought this last week. It works fine now. I will not give a five-star review because I just got it. After using it for a while I can give an honest review. What type of warranty do they have on this product? Sams club needs to be specific about the warranty. My concern is the material it is made with can cause cancer according to California proposition 65. It is written on the bottom of the box that came with the blender. It will be good if they make the product with BPA and PFAS free material. I have tried other blenders, but they performed poorly. I will pray for protection as I use this so I will not be affected by the harmful materials in the plastic.
My husband & I had become addicted to smoothies our daughter would bring us each week. So when a Tropical Smoothie was built closer to us we would get 4 smoothies, 2 for now & 2 for the next day. So we we’re spending a fortune on smoothies that we so easily make at home now & add all the healthy goodies we had to pay extra for. We’re in our 80’s & have always had a blender, but NEVER had one we LOVE & use DAILY. This Ninja is absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to have friends over to make smoothies for treats.I always read the reviews positive negative before I purchase anything, and then make a decision. I couldn’t be happier with this ninja and the beautiful cups that come with it. I don’t even pay attention to the noise that everyone talks about, I am so intrigued with the power, and the ease, with which, this machine creates delicious treats/meal replacements. Prior to this blender I had to replace blades all the time because the frozen fruit is actually denser and harder on the blade than ice cubes. But this beauty just chews it up like nothing I’ve ever seen before. My only regret is that I didn’t purchase it sooner. This is absolutely the BEST blender I have ever used. It is so EASY to USE and so EASY to CLEAN. It will definitely be number ONE on my list for a wedding gift. One of the reviews I read talked about having Little counter space, well, we live in a fifth wheel camper so you can only imagine how little counter space we have available. But guess what… This beautiful ninja sits on my counter, and will never be put away because it gets used every day. It’s absolutely BEAUTIFUL besides, I can’t say enough good things about it but if you were considering this NINJA, just buy it - don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it since we have bought it, I have made smoothies daily. I would pay twice as much.LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. Did I say I love ……… that’s an understatement! It’s a necessity.
My ex talked me into purchasing this very expensive package that she just "had to have"!Right after the 1 year warranty expired, the part of the base coupling that rotates the blending lid for single-serve cups fell apart. The small teeth simply disintegrated. Called for replacement part, and they said the entire base unit would have to be replaced. The cost (including shipping) was higher than the original sale purchase price! Also the pitcher is square, so when trying to blend smoothies and things, stuff sometimes hides in the corners instead of being swirled into the blades. Round pitchers seem to work better.Powerful unit, blades work well, and suction cups on base unit's bottom work great though.
This blender packs a nice punch--it's used primarily for morning breakfast smoothies and it crushes and grinds all ingredients really well. It's had no trouble tackling fruits, veggies, and ice for nice smoothies. The to-go cups are super convenient, don't drip, and fit well in our car cup holder. I'm deducting one star only because the lids on the smoothie cups are really difficult to remove once you have them on. My husband and sons struggled and had to break out rubber grippers to get it opened. I fear the pressure on the lid is eventually going to pop the top off the drinking spout because you end up using that for leverage. Otherwise, this is a great blender. We've been really impressed with the quality of Ninja products.
I love this so much that I have now bought this same package for my daughter last year and then for my other daughter last week (she begged for it after seeing mine). It has earned its place in my kitchen for coveted counter space and is one of the few appliances to stay out all the time.I started drinking smoothies for breakfast, and this is simply the best way to do it. No mess. Literally, I just rinse off the blade and that is it. There is NO cleanup. When you compare the horsepower on this machine with anything else on the market, it's like apples and...well, teeeny baby apples. :) This thing has 2 to 3 times as much horsepower as the others.I had a choice between the Ninja that was only the smoothie maker and it came with the 32-oz blender cups or paying a ... MoreI love this so much that I have now bought this same package for my daughter last year and then for my other daughter last week (she begged for it after seeing mine). When you compare the horsepower on this machine with anything else on the market, it's like apples and...well, teeeny baby apples. :) This thing has 2 to 3 times as much horsepower as the others.I had a choice between the Ninja that was only the smoothie maker and it came with the 32-oz blender cups or paying a little more and getting this DUO with the 24-oz blender cups. I love the blender, so I got this (all three times when I bought it). Most of the time I really want a bigger smoothie (and yet, I've lost really quite a lot of weight drinking even the large fruit smoothies). So, 24 ounce might be big enough for most people, but I ended up buying replacement cups at a bigger size. I still would buy this set just so I could have the blender.Speaking of the blender, this one solves the problem that I've always had with blenders where you have to stick a spoon down in there to get things to mix up halfway because they don't blend evenly unless it is just liquid. That doesn't happen with this. The stuff that is on the top smooshes down to the bottom like magic. It just works perfectly throughout. It crushes ice better than anything you could ever imagine. So, I sound like a paid infomercial, right? I'm NOT. I paid my hard-earned money for these. I bought them repeatedly because they are great.
I don't write many reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one. I bought the original Ninja blender about 15 years ago. I don't usually "upgrade" while my original product is still working. But I bought this unit primarily because the full blender did not fit underneath my cabinet and the smoothie cup does (I primarily use the blender for smoothies). I like that the same motor can be used for both. So, I can keep the full pitcher inside my cabinet and the smoothie cup on the counter for easy access. I brought the older (still working) blender up to my seasonal cottage. Due to covid, I had not been there in 2 years. I went up this year and used the old blender while there. There is no comparison - the blending features and power on this one really put the old model to shame. Great innovations, Ninja!
