Peppermint smell is powerful but dont worry your hair wont smell like peppermint the next day. It does have a natural peppermint smell. I got this kit as part of a free sample program in exchange for an honest review. Just finished my 30 day trial of the Nioxin system kit . It's a 3-step formula : the shampooing, the conditionner and the scalp hair treatment. It is very easy and convenient to use. The shampoo lathers up so well and I love the scent of fresh mint. My hair becomes thicker and fuller feeling super clean after using these daily, and also this is a great kit for hair loss. I recommend this product.

After 2 years of pandemic related stresses- my hair decided to start tapping out. Then this kit showed up and pulled my hair back from the deep end and replenished my scalp! I started using this set about 4-5 months ago. After the first week of use, I’ve noticed a marked improvement in my overall hair loss. There was not as much hair on my bathroom floor, nor in my shower, not as much shedding when brushing and, I did not feel hair falling throughout the day either (I find hair on my legs or arms while in the car, for example). I was very hopeful and happy with the results. However, the product stopped helping around the 3rd month of usage and I went back to lots of hair everywhere. Nothing else has changed in my routine or my health history. I did purchase this product for first time back in 2006 to treat my postpartum hair loss issue and I remember now why is that I stopped using it. Same thing happened 17 years ago…
Unfortunately I haven't been blessed.with the best hair.its always been thin,now Im in my 60s it's getting thinner .All my life I have been on a quest to find a product to improve my hair .I have found Nioxin hoorah I agree with the other review left. I have seen a great improvement my hair is starting to look and feel thicker.i purchased the set from another source as I didn't realise QVC sold it . How pleased was I to find QVC stocks it and I was able to purchase on 5 easy pays very happy .
I'm 57 and my hair has breakage without coloring. I got on a mission to strengthen my aging, fine hair. A stylist recommended this to me. I had redness on my scalp that this has really helped. I don't like the smell. It smells medicinally. Thus the 4 stars. I am willing to overlook that for results. I'm liking the way my scalp feels but I need a lot more time to see any other benefits. I think it's worth giving a try.
It’s not even funny how this made my hair so thin and created so much fallout, as a person who is borderline anemic, This is not your product after my baby. I decided to give this a try and it was the worst decision ever. It made my hair so thin it went from a nice thick, voluptuous amount to barely nothing to the point where I can see my scalp. Yes it gives you a minty feel on your scalp but it is the absolute worst. I do not recommend this product especially if you’ve had a baby or your hormones are not in check. I recommend sticking to a oils and actually taking care of your scalp. And I use this about three months, and I am currently struggling with a dry scalp and reproduction of hair.
First let me say, I have fine naturally white / platinum hair which acts very weird at this stage of life.I do like the smell and the way it really removes any build of product. I did see some new growth around my hairline which was encouraging. However, my hair became dry, frizzy and unmanageable. I started out using every time I washed my hair and then went to every other time. Same results.I did use this years ago before I became white headed and it worked with new hair growth. So I believe it is just the texture of my hair and will work for others.

At first i though this felt a bit drying and the conditioner wasn't going to be enough although i was so pleased i could use on my scalp where the dryness was, I got option 6 due to bleached long straw like hair. When i brushed it although the brush didn't go through it quite as smoothly ........ listen........only 3 hairs came out in my brush,YEP 3.can you even imagine how thick my hair is going to be after many months, so exiting so I'm going to carry on.
