Exactly what I needed to replace my gen 1, mh10 I've had for years. Not notably heavier despite being bigger. Enough heft to notice if you drop it but convenient to carry on person or attached to bag. Incandescence ++, tactical button ++, accessories ++ esp 5000mh battery and holster.

Real man's flashlight!While I don't use it for tactical purposes, the build quality plus brightness of the light with all its various modes are incredible. Just holding it in your hand gives you confidence and makes you - jokes aside - feel more manly. I got it as a package with the Tiki which also turned it to be a fantastic flashlight that I carry with my keys at all times now. Amazingly bright with extra useful functions in a remarkably compact size. For just a few bucks more I bought the cone which gives it a lamp function. Awesome. Thanks, Nitecore, for producing such great products. I used to like Maglite but not anymore.

I usually don’t review but this light is where it’s at. Ive had and handled a lot of trashy and higher-end flashlights. Fenix, Surefire, Nebo & other competitors with nitecore are specifically my focus here. Ive had small ones, medium ones, big ones, focusing ones, customizable ones, headlamps and so on. Ive had several nitecores and my previous favorite was the p12. This one is a significant upgrade from that with some features. Im very rough on my equipment I use for work and out in the woods. This thing can be put through hell and still works great!The thing I love about this light the most is the fact I can recharge it via cable. Very pleased with this light and accessories. Product shipped same day, and was received promptly. Having purchased by the 12v2 and the 12S, I would purchase the 12S next time. The smaller size and the brighter light are worth the small difference in price.

Fantastic Flashlight!!

I absolutely love this flashlight. When I opened it, I thought.. this is very interesting, compared to most of the flashlights I've owned. I wasn't sure what to expect, but read the directions and charged the battery.. and turned it on... it waAdd Your Review s so bright, it shocked me. Exactly the kind of flashlight I needed and was looking for. It's a great price for an amazing flashlight. I highly recommend it.

NITECORE MH12 v2 1200 Lumen USB-C Rechargeable Fla

I was looking for a small flashlight with the side switch instead of the tail switch. But this one also has the other features I was looking for in a flashlight: the usb charging capability, removable battery, & brightness control. I thought I probably wouldn't like the tail switch, but I find it easy to press. The mode button is a bit fussy for me, and I fool around trying to find it, but I like having the modes. (I might put a little glow in the dark paint on the side button.) It’s a bit slippery in my hand, but the weight is good. The brightness levels are perfect. It is VERY BRIGHT for the size (when on highest setting), yet specs say it has a lengthy charge. Overall I think it's a well-designed, solid little flashlight, pretty much just what I wanted! This is my first Nitecore purchase. The MH12 v2 is clearly a medium size EDC flashlight that incorporates a versatile tactical usage. This light is well balanced that has an extremely bright and focused beam. Its easily carried with the included holster or clip. The compact but hardy 21700 5000mAh battery has excellent life. A spare was also purchased to eliminate down time. Both the build quality and functionality of this particular product prompted me to also purchase two other lights, a 10,000mAh waterproof bank, and the UMS4 four bank battery charger. I highly recommend looking at the other array of items that are offered as you will not be disappointed with Nitecore’s selection, price point and warranty.

Using this flashlight for light painting after seeing a demo by Susan Magnano. The light has many modes from momentary to strobe and the optional tail pressure switch. It has four brightness settings which comes in handy when there is a need for light fill. A very versatile light for this art form. I highly recommend.
