I'm a self employed plant fitter who is constantly fighting the battle of overloading my van, the GB500 is perfect with its low weight to power ratio.I spent many hours researching jump packs and although expensive I have found it worth every penny easily starting 24v 6/8 cylinder excavators.
The jump starter has been excellent, wouldn’t be without it now, struggled for so long without this, only criticism is the leads are a little short and find myself extending them with jump leads.

Personally jump started a d8t dozer stone dead 28 degrees outside machine had been sitting for quite some time this thing doesn't play cranked up first try I've had the gb150 for a while it's served me well but the gb500 blew me away cranking a frozen dozer only down side is price and length of cables but it works very well on big 24v systems never used on 12v yet imagine there isn't many 12v engines it won't start
The cables it came with were way too short almost have to hold the thing in your hand while it's hooked upOnly had it about a year used it three or four times in the battery's going bad already
This unit is what Ive been hearing about. Its very outstanding and does the job right away.
Nice product but way too expensive, especially when there are other jump starters out here way cheaper that will do the job at a fraction of the price.
