OGX Renewing + Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo, 25.4 oz.

Normally I usually change my shampoo and conditioner every couple months because it’s healthy for your hair. So when I changed to this brand I was excited, I love Argan oil and the scent smells so good! After a couple days after my first wash I started noticing that I had dandruff. I thought I just didn’t wash it out all the way but that wasn’t the case. I kind of just put that on the back burner, so the next wash I literally pulled out about dime size of my hair!! I’ve never had this problem with other shampoos and conditioners except Aussie. My hair is so frizzy and feels like it’s dead when it’s not. I understand that everyone is different but I do not recommend for anyone!

My bar might be a little to high for shampoos because I’ve tried many. Many high end. The best I’ve used generally leave my hair feeling very soft after I’ve washed the shampoo away. This did…a little. I’d say out of the drugstore selection, not including any high end brands, this is one of the better options. For this price point, it’s good. If you want to compare it to everything out there then no. It falls short. It’s not as moisturizing as I’d like it to be. It does lather nicely and the smell is pleasant. Many good qualities. Worth a try at least. My hair is dry and damaged from coloring so my needs are more steep.

But I cannot tell you how much I enjoy this one, and how silly my hair feels after using it. Plus, the smell is so lovely. Not strong, not overly anything. It just smells clean and fresh and light. I end up smelling my hair a lot the day after I wash it, which is hilarious. I use this shampoo in combination with the matching conditioner. Now, this might be total coincidence or due to some other factor, but before I started using them, I felt like I was shedding so much more hair in the shower. It freaked me out a bit to look at the drain after I washed it. I bought this because it was recommended as an option for the curly girl method if you don't want to completely give up using shampoo. I tried using cleansing conditioner and just found that my hair never felt clean. I have fine, wavy 2A hair that gets greasy very quickly even though I've been trying to only wash my hair every 2-3 days or so for months now. I like that this shampoo still lathers because I have an OCD thing about getting a good lather in my hair (I feel like its not actually getting clean unless it lathers!) and it smells amazing, like light and sweet coconut. A lot of other sulfate free shampoos I've tried either don't lather at all or just barely. Though I enjoyed the smell, over time, I experienced significant scalp irritation from this product. I don’t think OGX hair products are for me and my sensitive scalp. I do have a history of dandruff issues and sensitive skin. Both went wild when using this shampoo. My hair also started shedding at a higher rate than normal. Once I switched back to my usual dandruff shampoo and a different conditioner, my scalp calmed down and my hair gained some strength. Definitely don’t recommend this product unless your scalp and hair can handle anything.

I used to use this brand pretty exclusively. I liked the scents of the product and it seemed to cleanse my hair nicely. I liked it until I noticed that my hair was drastically thinner compared to the start of me using their products. I stopped immediately and within months my hairs started growing back and filling back in. I worked in the beauty industry at the time and had many friends that used their products and noticed the exact same issue with hair loss. It’s not worth it. Do not use these products. There’s so many better products out on the market in this price range.

Great product but packaging needs a lot of work

We have used this for some time and it’s always the same. We are now looking at changing to another shampoo for 4 people. It’s near to impossible every time to get the conditioner and shampoo from the bottom of the bottle, meaning with every bottle around 4-5 washes are wasted from the shampoo and definitely more from the conditioner. If you have weak wrists or arthritis or any pain in your hands or arms at all, it’s impossible to squeeze the bottle even when half full to get the product out. When the bottles are full, it’s still very difficult. The plastic is very tough, not malleable or pliable and challenging. It’s a shame because if you can get into the bottles, or rather get the products out of them, the shampoo and conditioner are great. Maybe buy again

I'm 51, and my once beautiful curly brown hair is just dull and lifeless. Been trying several shampoo brands for moisture and curls, from super cheap Suave to expensive Kendra, and everything in between. This exact product included. I haven't noticed hair loss like some say, but I have noticed since using this OGX bottle, my scalp is super itchy. Haven't experienced this with any other shampoos. It hasn't been a terrible brand to use, my curls are looking better again, but the itchiness is driving me crazy. Yet I have a friend that swears by it. So buy a small bottle first before jumping into a big bottle like I did.

My new favourite shampoo!

I've been on the hunt for a shampoo that cleans my oily scalp with one wash and rinse, and doesn't irritate my scalp. This is the one! My hair type is thin-to-medium, wavy, and super oily. I do have dandruff which this shampoo doesn't address (nor does it claim to), but this doesn't irritate my scalp or make it more itchy. I was concerned that anything claiming to have an oil in it would never get my scalp clean, or give a lasting clean, but this is not a problem for whatever reason! It most likely doesn't have as much oil as it's claiming to; so if you need a shampoo to address dryness, this is probably not the best choice.Just 2 minor concerns that might be annoying for others, but not a deal-breaker for me. OGX Hair Shampoo Conditioner cause massive hairloss use "love beauty planet" instead

I bought this product because of tiktok, I was like "You know, let's give it a try" I first used it mid December everything was good, second bottle I bought was in February. I noticed my hair was falling alot but I told my self "It's fine, hair is supposed to fall" I would loose about a hand full of hair, per shower I didn't think much about it because I thought I was normal. Now, April 2023 I've realized how much hair I've lost my hair used to be thick and had volume now its super thin and literally falls when I touch it. DO YOU RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BUY. I recommend using "love planet beauty" instead it's way better than this. I am currently in a journey to get my hair back , and I'm honestly so mad that nobody is speaking about this.
