OGX Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo and Conditioner 750 ml

I bought this on a whim, and was surprised about the great quality. It hydrates my hair and gives it a balanced, healthy shine. It also has a luxurious scent, and I get asked about what hair products I use. Personally, I do not use this set regularly, as the moisturizing oils can be irritating for my oily/combination skin. Even when I rinse my skin afterwards with cleanser and soap, the remaining oils in my hair can still irritate pores. I do believe this is just an expected reaction of my skin type with any oils, and has nothing to do with the quality of this set. The OGX Argan Oil of Morocco shampoo and conditioner have the potential to become anyone’s favorite hair products. I received these from Influenster to review. When I first used it, I thought it was terrible. It left my hair greasy at the scalp and the rest of my hair dry and brittle. After using it for a week, it grew on me because it actually did clean my hair properly with its daily use. This, however, changed. After months of using it and the OGX argon oil hair oil, my hair is not in good shape. At all. My hair is extremely dry and damaged compared to when I used other shampoo brands for years. It’s also ruined my curls and turned them into frizz. If you do like this brand, I recommend using it only a couple times a week or you’ll end up regretting it like me.

My bar might be a little to high for shampoos because I’ve tried many. Many high end. The best I’ve used generally leave my hair feeling very soft after I’ve washed the shampoo away. This did…a little. I’d say out of the drugstore selection, not including any high end brands, this is one of the better options. For this price point, it’s good. If you want to compare it to everything out there then no. It falls short. It’s not as moisturizing as I’d like it to be. It does lather nicely and the smell is pleasant. Many good qualities. Worth a try at least. My hair is dry and damaged from coloring so my needs are more steep.

But I cannot tell you how much I enjoy this one, and how silly my hair feels after using it. Plus, the smell is so lovely. Not strong, not overly anything. It just smells clean and fresh and light. I end up smelling my hair a lot the day after I wash it, which is hilarious. I use this shampoo in combination with the matching conditioner. Now, this might be total coincidence or due to some other factor, but before I started using them, I felt like I was shedding so much more hair in the shower. It freaked me out a bit to look at the drain after I washed it. I used to use this brand pretty exclusively. I liked the scents of the product and it seemed to cleanse my hair nicely. I liked it until I noticed that my hair was drastically thinner compared to the start of me using their products. I stopped immediately and within months my hairs started growing back and filling back in. I worked in the beauty industry at the time and had many friends that used their products and noticed the exact same issue with hair loss. It’s not worth it. Do not use these products. There’s so many better products out on the market in this price range.

Fantastic Shampoo and Conditioner Duo

This new upgraded OGX argan oil of morocco collection has been a pleasure to use. This was gifted to me in exchange for my honest opinions. I have relatively healthy straight/ thick hair with normal/ oily scalp. Cleans well and conditions hair without leaving hair feeling heavy. Only thing I didn't "love" was that the shampoo doesn't lather (no squeaky clean feel) and has this weird sticky honey consistency, but it leaves my scalp feeling clean without leaving any residue. The conditioner, my favorite of the two, is hydrating and helps at smoothing hair, no frizz. This shampoo, conditioner set has pleasant but strong floral fragrance. It doesn't linger much after washing out, but is quite strong in the shower. Love/Hate OGX!

I have used different shampoos & conditioners by OGX over the years, but never this one, so I was excited when I got picked to sample it. The products did what they said they'd do. After washing, my hair felt nourished and hydrated, it felt like satin, and once it was styled after after air drying, my hair was shiny, silky, and had no "frizz." After two weeks of testing it, I visited Amazon to buy more, but to my utter dismay, I learned that OGX is NOT cruelty free. I researched this for a few hours to make absolutely sure, before I made a public review. OGX tests on animals to increase their profit margins. I am not okay with this. If in the future, this changes, I definitely will begin purchasing their products again. My New FAVORITE Shampoo & Conditioner!

My new favourite shampoo!I've been on the hunt for a shampoo that cleans my oily scalp with one wash and rinse, and doesn't irritate my scalp. This is the one! My hair type is thin-to-medium, wavy, and super oily. I do have dandruff which this shampoo doesn't address (nor does it claim to), but this doesn't irritate my scalp or make it more itchy. I was concerned that anything claiming to have an oil in it would never get my scalp clean, or give a lasting clean, but this is not a problem for whatever reason! It most likely doesn't have as much oil as it's claiming to; so if you need a shampoo to address dryness, this is probably not the best choice.Just 2 minor concerns that might be annoying for others, but not a deal-breaker for me. My hair has never been so soft!

My own personal experience with said product.I received the OGX Renewing + Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo & Conditioner to test. After just one wash I was so surprised! My hair has never been this soft! I have wavy/curly hair and it's hard to find products that leave my hair soft yet doesn't weigh it down and pull the curl out. I never rub my hair with a towel. I always squeeze the excess water out and then I wrap it in an absorbent turban style wrap. I did this with this OGX duo and it turned out beautiful! I received these products complimentary in exchange for my honest review. After trying this set extensively, I am not sure how I feel about it. I love the fragrance. I like that I didn’t need to use much product, as it was seemingly pretty concentrated. I like them overall, but I don’t know if I would purchase them or seek the products out. I have very thick and somewhat course hair. It is wavy/curly, and hard to manage. I didn’t feel that this set really gave much change to my hair. It was not especially softer or shiner than it is with my regular products. However, it did keep up okay with those products I am used to, which are much more expensive.
