I bought this treatment essence/lotion to use instead of the different toners I’ve been using for years which always left my skin dried out. It is the consistency of a toner (watery), so you have to be careful not to waste it as it will spill out if you don’t carefully put it in your cupped hand then use 3 fingers of the other hand to dab it on your face. It does not leave any residue, it sinks right in your face is moisturized immediately. It’s great to use on its own without moisturizer during days when you want your skin to rest from applying too much product, but it feels dry. The only drawbacks are the bottle is simple green plastic, not pretty on a vanity if that’s what you’re looking for (the great benefits of it outweigh the look of the bottle for me) the name is kind of misleading because it’s not the consistency of a lotion, but more watery like a toner. My full routine is double cleanse, toner, Dr. Andrew Weil essence, eye cream then moisturizer. Essences such as this are rather new, but so worth it adding to your routine. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone to try at least once, especially if you have dry skin and/or redness. It does not break you out. And the price, though a little more than most high end toners, is affordable considering what you get less expensive than the well known luxury brand’s essences.

It absorbs extremely fast leaves absolutely NO residue! "You put it on it's gone!" It deeply moisturizes penetrates the skin because of both the ingredients used the formula itself! A little is all that is needed really the bottle is 200mL, so it will last a while! You just shake it really well, every single time, pour into your palm pat INTO the face for best absorption! The formula is absolutely phenomenal as well smells fabulous, to me! The formula is made extremely well uses a lot of Reishi Mushroom Extract yes, they're even amazing for the skin! It also contains Licorice, which helps with dark spots to brighten the skin, Hyaluronic Acid, a special, Triple Ferment formula, Algae Extract, Mandarin Orange Peel Oil Extract, Lavender Patchouli Oil Extract, organic brown sugar, Soybean Seed Extract, Salicylic Acid, Caffeine MORE! I am pregnant and it's wreaking havoc on my sensitive skin. I mostly deal with redness on one side of my face. Before the pregnancy, it was kind of mild but now it's flaring up along with my hormones. I'd previously tried the Glow Recipe Avocado serum to reduce redness but honestly it wasn't doing much of anything. Literally on the first try with this Mega-Mushroom Relief & Resilience Soothing Treatment "Lotion" my skin was like AHHHHHHH *zen moment* and the redness chilled out immediately.I agree with other reviewers - you have to be prepared for the watery consistency of the product. I also got the MM R&R Advanced Face Serum sample and love it too. I use both morning and night and my face is so much calmer, redness is reduced, and I don't look like I just got slapped, lol.

I follow a 4-5 step Korean skin care system that involves me using different products (Asian and American) in layering the products to achieve my skin goals (hydrated and healthy), AM and PM. My skin care process usually involves layering multiple toners (Korean) to get the hydration I need, so this product being similar to a treatment lotion, it was simple to follow directions and use. This lotion gives an earthy, mushroom, patchouli scent, which I felt like was unnecessary given the pretty decent ingredients list. It was just surprising to see that mushroom was a little bit further down on the ingredients list, but I was more surprised at the other great ingredients listed on the product packaging. I feel like this treatment lotion would be great for someone who hasn't incorporated any treatment lotions, essences or serums in their skin care routine and are looking for an additional boost to increase their skin hydration and improve their skin barrier. I will use up all that I have but I will not be purchasing this product again because I feel like there are other options available to to me that may do the same job, if not more, but would cost less.

I stopped using foundation after I started using this

I never thought I'd see the day when I'd go out on a date with hubs and not use full coverage foundation, but here we are! I use zero foundation! This stuff literally saved my skin. It leaves it bright, clean, glowing, and soothed.My sensitive skin used to break out at just about anything, the moment this stuff goes on, you can feel the instant soothing sensation it gives.I don't know why this doesn't come with a spray nozzle,but I bought the toner specifically for the nozzle and use that and simply refill from the 13.5 oz. Just buy it (sensitive skin & rosacea)!

I did not want to love this because I feel like it's way too much to spend on a toner, but I have rosacea and super sensitive skin and have the hardest time finding skincare that doesn't burn and enflame my skin. I bought this out of desperation and let me tell you, not only did it not irritate my skin, it calmed the irritation from washing immediately. I use a lot of really gentle products and nothing has ever calmed my skin as much and as quickly as this stuff. My skin felt so good. I was shocked. I saw some reviews where people seem confused about how to use this product. It is supposed to be used like a toner (right after washing and before hyaluronic acid or actives). Add in your actives and sunscreen where you usually do.

MY SKIN IS AMAZING NOW!

Bought this as a flook, but it has turned out to be the most trusted element of my skincare routine. I never thought a watery lotion could solve all of my skin issues - but it has! I use in the morning, before my serum and spf, and it is the perfect rehydration. I found I don't need to cleanse in the mornings with this treatment lotion, as it wakes me skin up and prepares it for the other elements of my skincare routine. Honestly, just perfection. I'm still on the same bottle after 18months of use. My redness and imperfections have massively reduced over time, and my skin does feel strengthened! Whenever I manage to finish my bottle, I will most definitely be purchasing again!

My Day Isn't Right Without It!

I have been using this for years and it is one of my favorite products on earth. I use it as the first step in my skkin routine after cleansing. I pour it into my hands and smooth over my face, chest, and back of hands. It instantly hydrates and nourishes my skin. If I somehow miss this step, I can tell. I feel like it makes all my subsequent products in my routine soak in better and my skin feels plumper and smoother. Highly recommend for anyone that likes to use a toner and/or that is into mild lotions. I don't know why they call it a lotion, as it really is just a clear liquid like a toner. There isn't really much scent. It feels really good on my skin and I highly recommend.

At first I didn't understand how to use it, but it works like a toner - same application with cotton ball. Felt like I was wasting some product, so I started capping it over with my finger, like how you dab on perfume, and wiping that on my face. It is entirely too slow to do it this way. Now I prefer to pour a small dime-sized amount in palm of my hand - obviously you cup your hand so it doesn't spill everywhere! - I dip two digits in the liquid and wipe it on my face.
