One of the most useful tools in my kitchen! Great design and easy to use. The detachable screen really comes in handy when using large bowls! Using a plastic bowl is helpful to not go over the maximum weight.

I use this scale all the time. Sometimes for separating out bulk meat purchases but mostly for recipes. I cook a lot of meals out of UK and French cook books that weigh everything in grams. This scale is perfect for that. It can zero out with a bowl. You can measure in OZ, GRAMS, LBS, and KG. I'd highly recommend if you are a baker. Measuring cups can be off for your dry ingredients. This is much more accurate and can help make the perfect measurement for the perfect meal.

I’ve wanted a digital kitchen scale for a while and I’m so glad I finally got this one. I love that it gives a more accurate measure than dry cups and I have fewer dishes to wash! Great gadget for the home baker.

Scale works very well. I like that if you turn it on with a container on it zeros out by itself. You are supposed to be able to remove the pad for cleaning. I cannot, I am afraid it will break. OXO says this is normal the first few times. Just pull harder was their response. I think this is a design flaw. I will just lay a sheet of wax paper on it when I use it.
Wonderful scale to use, very practical product. Replaces a scale that used a wall wart as a power supply this is much easier to use. The five pound rating is fine for my use in bread baking. easy to clean and when necessary the ability to pull out the front control panel for viewing is a nice feature. I will be updating this review after a year of use of the scale. The scale gets used about 5 days a week right now and it is doing exactly what I need it to do and it does it correctly. What more could you ask for? Great price. Great product.
The platform holds larger plates/bowls. Measurement in either lbsPlus ounces or total ounces (same for grams/kilos) helps for scaling recipies. Wish there was a separate shot off button and platform removal takes force. Was afraid I would break. Neither would prevent me from buying
This scale is a godsend.You can read the display regardless how big of a bowl you place on it. Just pull out the display. It’s ingenious!

Meets my needs perfectly. I’ve use this mostly for making sourdough starter/bread. Very easy to use and tare. The pullout screen will be useful if I have larger bowls on the scale.
