Purchased the vac to remove gum leaves from a patio and paths around the house. It does the job well. Wide suction mouth provides good coverage. Easy removal of bag to empty shredded contents. Good shredding. The wheel-based unit means it can be easily pushed around instead of having to be carried. That's a bonus. The only thing I think that could be improved is for it to have an on-lock switch instead of having to manually depress the on switch continually for the unit to operate. As soon as the pressure's off the on swith, the unit turns off. That's a pain if you're operating the machine for extended periods of time. Overall, however, a useful unit for a competitive price.

I give it 4 stars, because it did exactly what I wanted it to do and did it well. If you just want to suck up gum leaves from off the pavers, it does this well, don’t expect the small twigs or small gum nuts to be lifted in though! 3 year replacement warranty better cover the bag, unless these are sold as a consumable as I don’t see it lasting too long!

I bought this soley for my artificial grass - I use this in combination with my Ozito Blower/Mulcher, as I find it a bit difficult to pick up leaves right alongside the fence and edges. At first I was a bit disappointed, however I worked out that I get better pick up when I pull back the Vacuum rather than pushing it. After a few uses you will find a technique that works for you. It works well on my garage floor, driveway and pathway too. I haven't tried on grass to pick up leaves, but it does that job that I need it to do.

Hesitated to purchase but desperately needed something to vacuum leaves up and this does the job so well. Only downside is flimsy bag. Recommend duct taping parts up to stop tearing. Ensure you have a really long extension lead too.
It sounds like a leaf blower and it's pretty loud. But it does the job. If you don't like your neighbors this is the one to get. I managed to fill the bag in no time and it hold a decent amount so it does work well. I feed the bird on the lawn and end up with a lot of seed on the lawn and this even picks that up. So for my purposes winner. I only took a star of because it's noisy but this may or may not bother you.

I bought my garden vac about 18 to 20 months ago. Used about 6 times - then the top of the bag blew out. Covered me in dust and junk. The bags are made of the most miserable fabric know to man. When I touch the bag it leaves black muck on my fingers - it is obviously rotten. Not much to be said for a garden tool kept in a clean, dry garage. It's more like paper than fabric. I would be embarrassed to sell a product with this rubbish attached.
I bought this machine a few weeks ago and it works, saved me so much time, is easy to move around, empty and he bag and it has adequate suction power to suck up leaves and small sticks - would buy again no hesitation. I normally by ryobi products but they don't make these... Great value, saves time, makes me wonder what other products of their are worth very considering!
I purchased the Garden Vacuum specifically for use on my artificial turf after reading a very favorable review for its use here. It handled larger leaves reluctantly with much encouragement but was absolutely useless with smaller leaves. This is the first of many Ozito appliances I have bought that I have found lacking. What perplexes me is that I have an Ozito 3 in 1 Vacuum Blower with 2400w power and the Garden Vac is only 1600w. The bigger motor on the Garden Vac might just make the difference as the Vacuum Blower works well in the suction mode.
I bought this after struggling to find another garden vacuum in my price range. I’ve used other leaf blowers and vacs but after a while, I end up with a sore back.I haven’t tried it on real grass yet but on artificial turf, it picks up pretty much everything. Big pieces of bark are the only thing it is not picking up.The suction could be stronger and it could be a little quieter but apart from that, it’s a bargain.
