I only used this a few times, and the button you hold down when it comes time to undo the chuck to remove the bits or grinding tools broke, rendering it useless. The button is now permanently in, and there is no way for the chuck to rotate when you turn it on.

Finally decided to get one of these. I sort advice from a member in the Tool Shop. Have only used it a few times but know it will be a great addition to my workshop.

If you are like me and were tossing up between a proper Dremel and this, I hope this can help. I had a few small tasks to do, like small prep work on some alloy wheels, and I have to repair a cracked dashboard which necessitated a rotary tool. I did a lot of reading, and eventually went with the Ozito, because it was miles cheaper and I've always found that Ozito tools have been quite good. This is no exception, the tool is great, I dont think its necessary to get a dremel because the Ozito tool is absolutely fine. However, you are going to need to buy accessories. The Ozito accessories are so beyond terrible it isnt funny. Motor fails rather quickly, extension flexi shaft gets extremely hot within minutes, extension flexi shaft falls apart from heat, 2nd one to fail in 2 weeks of minimum use.
Wish I bought the dremel. The quality of the drill, the tools and the case are all not great I’m afraid - the cord to use it as a pen is awkward and I am taking this back as soon as lockdown ends.
Found this tool to be less than useful as the revs at the lower speed settings were up and down all over the place, also had a bit of a "cooked" smell coming out of it. Only used it a couple of times then returned it to Bunnings with no dramas at all. I have several other Ozito tools which are good as gold for handyman use, and the three year warranty is unbeatable.
Used for small Wood project and it was done tool responsibility drops down after one or two small project of wood carving or polish/ not good for metal sand and wood sanding or polishing it simply stops working and during work goes high and low in speed like it wants to explode these are only small task I did with this tool
During first use the spindle lock button popped out and there was an acrid smell. Returning it.
This has busted after a few months of use.It will no longer tighten around tool bit & the sander bits have ripped, flown off & cut me on numerous occasions.Don’t waste you money.
The tools jump out of flexib shafts and I changed the part but it is not secure they just fly out of it, not working, my receipt is completely blank now there is no writing on it anymore, I have it for two years I haven't used it for the last few months because whatever I put in and just flies off!! I use it to polish gold and silver.
