This combination is amazing - I can easily make long straight cuts as the machine is well balanced and has plenty of power. The slow start make me feel like I have good control. Eye/ear protection and a dust mask is a must.

This is low price grinder but build quality is tops. The debris guard is easily adjustable and the disc locks easily to change cutting wheels. The best feature is that the trigger body can rotate 90 degrees left or right for easy use. It is super powerful and easily chews through brick and concrete - especially with diamond blade.

My first time using an Angle Grinder. I put this Ozito 230mm through its paces cutting and grinding heavy hard alloy cast iron steel! It handled the job well. It comes with 1x cutting disc (metal) which I haven't used yet and 1x grinding disc (metal) which works like a charm. I purchased 5 metal cutting discs "Flexovit 230 x 2.0 x 22.3mm Steel And Inox Stainless Maxx Reinforced Cut Off Wheel". I used these cutting discs to cut through very hefty cast iron steel. and they cut through just fine. I needed a big grinder that could use larger discs to allow me to cut through 6cm thick steel. The 230mm is quite heavy and very powerful for a first time user. So I would advise you to wear proper safety gear including gloves, mask and safety goggles or preferably a face ... So I would advise you to wear proper safety gear including gloves, mask and safety goggles or preferably a face shield and hearing protection, a couple of G-CLAMP 150MM H/DUTY C/RIGHT and then watch some safety videos online before attempting to grapple with this beast. I can't stress enough how important safety is with this tool! Bite the bullet and buy or borrow the safety gear that is needed. Start off with grinding first if you can, that's the disc that is already attached. If your arms get really sore after first time use, give your arms a rest for 1 week to heal and strengthen, then give it another go. Your arms will have strengthened and it will be easier to be able to start grinding and cutting the second time around. I wish they had smaller grinders that could accommodate the 230mm discs, but unfortunately they don't so this was my only option. This beast was excellent for cutting very thick pieces of steel. However I will definitely be buying the smaller Ozito 100mm next as my go to grinder, as it will be more controllable and useful for the smaller jobs. But having the 230mm available for the deeper cuts into steel is a must have, when needed.
Had this unit for over 7 years and it has been brilliant. Love it! It works so hard for us and it goes to show you can get good output for a little price if you look after things. Fabulous grinder.
So far so good. Only cut a few bricks with it, but it's well balanced (if heavy), the swivel handle is well designed, and it's got plenty of power. Only time will tell how durable it is.
Great value, have used it to cut out a door way in double brick and remove a wall, cut through it easily with a cheap diamond blade. I noticed a few reviews complaining about how hard it is getting the blade off, the paper washers included in kit prevent torque loading making it hard to get blade off again.
I found this to be good value for money and good quality for heavy grinding work
I bought a month to cut bricks. It is good for that . BUT each time you need to replace the grinding disc, it takes two grown men, a long lever and incredible peristenace and patience to remove the nut. The nut spanner that comes with the grinder is hopeless. Mine broke after relpacing 2nd disc and I had to but a different brand spanner
I bought this to cut through some concrete sleepers, did the job with ease.the soft start up is brilliant, and it's nice being able to rotate the rear handle.
