I have tested the playback and record features of the unit by recording on a blank dvd from a VHS cassette. It plays and works great. This unit came from an estate of an elderly lady and it's evident she took very good care of it and it appears to have little use on it. Physically it's very clean and shows little signs of use. It includes the original component and RCA cables, I'm throwing in an HDMI cable. Also includes the original remote, manual and box, the box is missing the interior styrofoam packing material as shown. See pictures for more details.
